Well all you have to do is put this sort of thing into the poll option text box:

You can find out the name of the avatar icons by doing a right-click and then "save as" from the select avatar page.

Top of the page there's a "profile" link.
Load that page. Scroll way to the bottom.
Hit the "Show Gallery" button almost at the very bottom.
Chose one of the Avatars from there and remember to hit "Submit" when you get back to the profile page.
