You don't let just anyone on a tractor.

My Mom was also a tractor driver.  I guess that's why I today look at most gender feminists today and laugh.  Nobody ever told Mom what she could or couldn't do.  She liked the SC Case we had.  We all did.  It was an incredibly realiable piece of equipment.

We also had a 350 IH.  My brother and I used to argue over who got to drive it.

We also had an MT John Deere.  Sorry I couldn't find a better picture.

Here's a better preserved MT (2nd one down)
http://www.retiredtractors.com/Popper/M.html

We bought it from a family who was selling it, because it turned over backwards on the man pulling stumps with it and killed him.  We were all very careful with that tractor, and it was the weakest of the tractors we had.  I later wound up working for the son of the man killed by that tractor and we became good friends.  I never had any mishaps with that tractor, or the Case, but came close a couple of times with the IH.  It was very powerful.

A few of you have already made the point that opposition to some feminist viewpoints does not a right winger make. This is of course a point worth making - it also reflects an appalling arrogance on behalf of such feminists because to make such snap judgements assumes that they (feminists) actually OWN the entire left and therefore are the gatekeepers of what is 'left'!! I wonder if all lefties are thus happy to be defined as completely aligned with feminism - somehow I doubt this!

Not here in DK I am afraid. Mainly because feminism has patented "Equality" in our debate forms. Then again, opposition are growing rapidly here, so I think they are going to "wash their hands" pretty soon...

They have little choice.

To "oppose feminism" leads to splitting the left, and thus the right wins.  The feminists have cleverly engineered this.

They have sold their souls to feminism.

Someone asked for an example of what skills women's studies courses teach students for real-world careers.  We'd have to admit that people who become marriage counselors, K-12 educators, psychologists, organizational consultants, certain types of lawyers, and medical professionals who work on sex-related medical problems or who work with many women do benefit from the focus in women's studies courses.

But do the people these so called edumacated individuals "work" with, benefit?  Statistically, I think not.

You must be joking.  Here is the only skill I've seen women learn from women's studies courses -  binkybaby

If the phrase "dumb down" wasn't invented to describe women's studies curriculum, then it certainly has coincidentally become the most apt descriptor for that brain dead field of academic fraud.

All good little Feminazis easily "benefit" from the Big Lie. After all as Dr E noted, they stated "Women’s studies programs have had long practice in articulating the value of what we do to university administrators, We've seen what they do to uni presidents after all. Bullying and subterfuge are totalitarian specialties.

Bullshit........biggotted bulldyke bullshit to put a finer point on it. This from a graduate of Canada's foremost feminist post secondary institution who video taped the entire offering of "womyn's studies".

All they are good for is breaking balls at a pool hall.

Now fuck off and get real.

Bullshit.  Women's studies brainwashing has horrible impacts on people entering the psychological professions.  Claiming that half the population was oppressed by the other half will sorta give you a biased perspective don't ya think?  The last thing a therapist needs is a biased perspective.  They need to be able to see all sides.  Feminism only sees one side and worse yet, blames the other side for any troubles.  That is a huge and hurtful limitation.  This is like saying a course to teach people how to hate curly haired 4 year old kids is good for teachers of kindergartens.  Only straight haired kids are okay.  Get it?  You start off with a bias that prejudges a certain segment.  This is death to fairness.

Pet peeve alert.

Women who complain about male dominated fields of study, then go into Wimmin's studies.

Female, the reason why you chose wimmin's studies over engineering is the same reason why engineering is dominated by men.

And if you were so gosh darn worried about it, why didn't you go into engineering instead of complaining about the sex ratios.

Typhon here-by declares that every female who has chosen to go into a female-dominated profession or course of study as revoked her right to complain about the sex-ratio in male-dominated professions or courses of study. And that they shall stop pretending to talk for women who are capable of understanding calculus--since they certainly didn't speak for us when they were excluding us from their schmalzy little tea-parties, calling us four-eyes and pretending to spit in our hair.

My husband, who turned me on to Objectivist studies in the first place at one point tried to convince me that because we are paying such huge tax dollars into these programs there would be no harm served by our daughters claiming metis status.

Is that me... I'd say no.They can take out student loans or whatever, I would never tell them they can live off in anyway of taxpayers money. (added this was one of the few arguements we ever had... and this one I won, in the end he agreed with me)

If you wish to think I'm part of the whatever , it's your choice. I'm against any form of welfare state, but not against a hand-up for anyone will take it to heart, not feel it an intilament. If you work for 6 months and live off the state for 6 months then frankly you're one small step up from a bum.
