National NOW's press release:

Quote
NOW's Response to Sen. Kennedy's Endorsement

Statement of NOW President Kim Gandy

January 28, 2008

The National Organization for Women has enormous respect and admiration for Sen. Edward Kennedy (D- Mass.). For decades Sen. Kennedy has been a friend of NOW, and a leader and fighter for women's civil and reproductive rights, and his record shows that.

Though the National Organization for Women Political Action Committee has proudly endorsed Sen. Hillary Clinton for president, we respect Sen. Kennedy's endorsement. We continue to encourage women everywhere to express their opinions and exercise their right to vote.

###

I've been waiting for the response to TK's endorsement, and thought it might be something like what NY NOW and feministing have posted. I hope it tears the hell out of the dem party; they've been playing the races and genders against each other for so long.

Waiting with glee.

Note that national NOW has taken the high road. Also translate the following "We continue to encourage women everywhere to express their opinions and exercise their right to vote." to mean "as long as they tow the party line." Sieg heil, fraulein.

Perhaps the femi-nazis will stay home election day and show the world what racist, misandrist assholes they are. Possibly better for Ron Paul.

Yes, this will be an interesting election.

Explaining misandry to a feminist is like explaining "wet" to a fish.

if Dr Ron Paul doesnt get the repub nomination and  Obama gets the Dem nomination I will campaign relentlessly for Obama

Didn't Obama claim that fathers are to blame for broken homes or something to that effect?

Obama sees the problem but like everyone else, blames fathers.

Sorry, I can't support a man who wants to increase child alimony collection. It only makes matters worse.

Try and catch the State of the Union address, consider what it addressed, (including the part about the strangely Paul-ish judges and The Constitution and extermination of "drop in" earmarks) then count the seconds into the official Democratic response where the "National health, for the children"
comes in. I'll give you a hint. After the preemptive chiding and ridicule of what pundits MAY say about the speech process, it's right after the bi partisan support for Afghanistan and Iraq implications. About 38 seconds-

Admittedly, that's as far as I got before switching to AHL all star hockey.

Of course NOW would.  Female suffrage has been a huge social disaster.  Its time that the 19th amendment went the way of the 18th amendment.

Perhaps, but unless real men get angry and retake our country, don't count on it.

I wont vote for either one of them. Hillary or Obama. Im not stupid enough to vote for an anti male platform even if I am black. And i will never vote for a woman as long as I live. Meaning that for the next 50 years or so, I would not ever put a feminst in office, and thats what we would get. In 60 years of so its academic because i dont think I will make it too much past 100...

Welcome to the majority.   The MAJORITY of Americans are now so unhappy with the politicians that they no longer will vote for any of the lying scumbags.

One might be tempted to think that the political organizations might notice that MOST voters are not voting for any of their lies and find an honest decent candidate who would represent the voters.  But the money is where the scumbag liars and cheats are, not where the people are.

Maybe I should support Hillary until she is nominated as the Democrapic candidate. I think she would be easier for Republicans to defeat than Obama would.

Don't vote for Hillary and you're sexist
Don't vote for Obama and you're racist

but...

Don't vote for Huckabee and you're not anti-christian
Don't vote for Romney and you're not anti-mormon.
Don't vote for Julliani and you're not anti-white.
Don't vote for Ron Paul and you're not anti-constitution.

Added:
But you vote for any of the republicans and you are sexist, racist and homophobic.

Yes, the Democraps love to play the victim card don't they. Isn't it funny that they now have to choose which victim they prefer.

Your choice but his "Responsible Fatherhood Act" will only extend the man-hating nanny state even further.

I'm not familiar with Ms. Waters.   Is she voting her sex or her race?
