I like Obama.
If he doesn't get in I hope McCain does.
Your choice but his "Responsible
Fatherhood
Act" will only extend the man-hating nanny state even further.
Not my choice, being Canadian...but thanks for that.
I do think that his responsible fathers act may very well mean less black men spending their lives behind bars instead of being the fathers and responsible citizens they could be. I think he may very well be against warehousing millions of men in prison.

If that's the case, another question to ask is, "Will his proclamations be more affirmative action oriented, or wil he follow the Constitution?
There's only one candidate promising a return to the most sacred contract ever made between humans.

I don't care if his goal is to put black men on the moon, what he wants to do is cash in on BEATDEAD fathers! No Devia, not yelling at you but I really don't think we need more child alimony enforcement, we are steps away from concentration camps as it is.

I think 3 million men in prison being warehoused for life is a concentration camp. Most of those mostly men are in prison for the same reason their female counterparts are breeding more men to go into jail, sitting on welfare.
I don't believe he would see them as quite as the disposable population like it seems has happened, and there has to be a reason why the government has sat back and allowed this to happen. I think young boys born into this cycle of poverty and crime would find more opportunities open to them.

Ok, explain to me how tougher enforcement of child alimony will keep men out of prison? So far, that has put more men in prison.

That's sort of how I lean, admittedly, more for Constitutional concerns.
Now that Mr. Edwards has done the noble thing, and (it seems) Mr 911 will do the same
I have renewed faith in Dr. Paul's campaign.
At one point I said "Don't worry, at some point Sen. Clinton will (figuratively) hold up
the child as a human shield,
a la
The Dead Zone.
Well...
Two great moments in History in the last year
1. A court found in favor of innocent males. They were PRONOUNCED INNOCENT. (rather than a mere not guilty, or
inexpedient to prosecute
)
2. The Union Leader, the
de facto
State Paper of NH, took off the polite discourse gloves and out right proclaimed
HILlARY CLINTON LIED
Quote
Clinton coldly and knowingly lied to New Hampshire and Iowa. Her promise was not a vague statement. It was a signed pledge with a clear and unequivocal meaning.
She signed it thinking that keeping the other candidates out of Michigan and Florida was to her advantage, but knowing she would break it if that proved beneficial later on. It did, and she did.
New Hampshire voters, you were played for suckers.
I can only hope our CURRENT president "terminates or substantially reduces" at least half of VAWA funding, as part of his pending budget plan, attempting to eliminate "151 wasteful or bloated programs totaling more than US$18,000,000,000."

Do you know this or are you guessing? I hope you know this since backing a politician who intends to feed the corrupt family courts (child alimony is the cash cow of the family courts) without looking around would be questionable.
I would rather have a candidate who would do NOTHING (McCain who I don't really like either but is better than Obama) in regards to child alimony than one who would make matters worse.

LOL Slavery is good for men. It's female thinking. Enforce feminist slavery so tight that men won't be able to commit the crime of failure to pay females.

Sadly, so many people see it this way but won't use the word slavery. Perhaps we should start using the word slavery more often when referring to the family courts and it's related business dealings. Force people to see it for what it is.

The so-called "child support" orders are indentured servitude, a form of slavery. The sooner men start recognizing it as slavery the sooner it will be opposed.
There are organizations of slave chasers and underground railroads too. The new slavery (child support) has all the trappings of any slavery any time any where.
