Equality strikes again from the Washington Post

The Marine Marathon was held over the weekend and guess what? A
white male
won the race, beating every other entrant by more than three minutes. He was a graduate from a local DC college (Naval Academy) and a Lt Commander in the USN. His intact family was on hand to cheer him on including his wife and his infant daughter. He had failed at winning this marathon four years ago and was determined to not come back until he could win it all. He succeeds! Great story right?
Wrong! The real story is a
female
runner from Ehtiopia who can't speak english and usually only participates in marathons with cash prizes. (iow's she is a professional runner entering a largely amateur event) who comes in 70th place! Who gets their picture on the front page of the washington femiPost?

They should have made all the male runners wear lead filled shoes.

I will never in my life win an award for showing up... but a woman can. If I don't make it as a marine.. I go home. If a woman doesn't make it... she can cry her head off till she does. If I got 70th place I would rightfully be called NOTHING just like the GUY who got 71st place (were there more than 70 runners) would be called NOTHING. But a woman can get 70th place and its a victory.
My point is all the "victory" bragging events women praise are loser events for me. I get 70th and the marines probably would kick me out.

Here's a great video that spends time addressing the subject of modern day marathons in Amerika:

Awesome video.
And thing is guys like me have to accept loser positions. If I fail, I go home. If I don't measure up, I go home. So this is not an issue of exclusions since I and men like me are obviously excluded for not measuring up. But why must I accept that standard while women can bypass it and get a head start? It seems clear that if I and other men must accept that not measuring up = failure then women not measuring up = failure.

Begin sarcastic parody
: If, as Obama says, "women can do anything the boys can do and do it better," I find that absolutely astounding and miraculous - - - considering they're doing it with feminist a$$-kisser Obama's lips sealed onto their butts. Dragging his dumb-a$$ along in a marathon has got to be a lot of work. Do those women get an even bigger lead when dumb-a$$ Obama is in feminist a$$-kisser mode???
End sarcastic parody
.
How about an age handicap for old people running in a marathon? Nope, no handicap for them I see disabled people compete in marathons, but they don't get the kind of "equalizing treatment" that women do. So why do women get this special treatment for the main prize?

True about that. No handicap handicap that I've seen. And certainly no elderly one. You can be over 65 and run in a marathon and there's no elderly handicap.
But here's another thing to think about. Even IF these handicaps exist, women are smart, they aren't zombies or robots or naive. How come we don't see a flood of women pulling a Susan B. Anthony and refusing to take those handicaps? Did this girl from Africa refuse the award and say "nah I came in 70th"? Do you see female golfers refuse to hit from the lady's tee?
That I think is even more telling. its one thing to have a bunch of chivalrous men toss handicaps around so they can look manly. Its another to eat them up and never refuse them.

Let them enjoy their fantasy. Let the wrong people get the glory - these days plaudits come so cheap, they're of far less value than the intrinsic value you get from achieving truly difficult goals.
