Title: Feminism And Marxism/Socialism
Post by: hurkle on Oct 26, 2004, 09:40 AM
I have read a number of times that feminism has its roots in Marxism and Socialism. However, I cannot find any decent articles on this subject. Does anyone have any links or articles that they would be willing to share so that I can learn more about this subject?

Try

"No More Sex War" by Neil Lyndon

"Free Market Feminism" by David Conway (http:www.civitas.org.uk)

Feminist theory of marriage and the family is heavily inspired by Friedrich Engels' "Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State"

Hope this helps...

Depending on your views of Socialism/Marxism equating to communism-

Compare this manifesto

"Things to do other than Same sex marriage"(or something like that)

to this one
