The investigation reports also illustrate the Air Force Working Group's finding that just half of the 61 cases investigated at the academy since 1993 produced sufficient evidence to take action under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
Contradicting versions of events were given by witnesses; alleged victims and assailants had engaged in prior consensual sexual activity; alcohol is a common factor, and several victims reported long periods of blackout. In some cases, victims later recanted.

That cadet also was among six who have been court-martialed since 1993. He was convicted and sentenced to 42 months in jail and dismissed from the service
There does seem to be cause for concern here, but the Academy seems to be handling it. Overall it appears to be just more empire building by the DV industry.

I have sympathy for REAL rape victims/survivors. I do. I was falsely accused of rape. Twice. This may raise a few eyebrows, but I am not really interested. Even with THAT having had happend (twice) I do not have a callous heart for women who are violated by some cretin boy in man's body. The problem is, in this gender divided landscape, is that "sexual assault" has become what it was never meant to be. Regret, attention, revenge are used in self-justification and moral reletivism to tell women that she was sexually assualted even when she was not. I often just mirror what the victim says happened and change 'man' and 'woman' and the reply I get from Gender Feminists is that that is "different". Also, many men are raped. So are lesbians. And many men are taken advantage of when drunk or not in the mood, but no Gender Feminist seems much interested. Also, men who are put into prison are raped and raped repeatedly. Yet the Gender Feminists don't seem to have much energy left over for them. Ok, so what is my point? Gender Feminist are not the least interested in rape victims. Proof you say? Outstandling, would LOVE to provide some. If all these classes of rape victims listed above ARE rape victims, then why are they not brought up? Because it would not further their Anti-male agenda. Ever, and I mean even ONCE hear about lesbian "rape epidemic" on such campus' as Wellesley or Smith? Rape must happen there, but not a word. Also, since they keep putting out false statistics then, by definition they are liars.
Now, all this stuff being said, why are the Gender Fems going after the AF Academy and IS there a "rape epidemic".
Ok, first, why the AF Academy: a) because it is mostly a male population. b) the Gender Fems want to intrude on and socially reorganize the military c) its high profile and gives them press. I am IN the military. Let me tell you, the Academies are tough places and students in training environments will whine about anything. Trust me, they do. And if you are part of a "minority" its the only time you can pull out a "time out" card and get away with whining. The social engineering of the military has turned it into the freaking Armored Stroller Battalion. But that, it and of itself, deserves its' own thread.
Now, is there a "rape epidemic" at the AF academy. If you look at the Gender Feminists OWN NUMBERS the AFA is pretty low on rape "crisis" nodes. But, since we know those hate-mongers lie, lets look at it. I think even ONE ONE ONE rape is wrong. Even after being falsely accused that is where I stand. Period. All the Academies have an atmosphere of intimidation and silencing. I have seen it in the regular military. And if you look at what happens in regular training environments at Basic Training units its really weird. I will get some flak for saying this, but if you E-mail me, I will write a long explanation and prove it. I mean this sincerely. Women in initial training environments (not field environments) are like teenage boys in heat. But they are told that ANY sex makes them a victim. Its weird to watch. I also remember TAILHOOK where years later many of the women recanted their stories and/or were never punished for PARTICIPATING in sexual romps.
Just give this stuff some thoughts.

Doesn't it strike you as odd that, with the so-called "epidemic" of sexual assaults at the Air Force Academy, our nation's premier pilot training institution where only the best of the best are accepted, that only one courts-martial has been convened to date, even with its newly appointed female commandant?
The Fems would say this is because of coverups and the boys protecting their own. THIS is rediculous beyond words. The military is far more PC than civilian life simply because of its ability to rigidly enforce all forms of personal behavior.
Let me give you another reason so few cases have prospered, one that you will never read about. Upon registration, all students sign statements of understanding that they are liable for re-imbursing the government for the education and training given if students fail to meet military physical and moral standards. This can be as much as $120,000. There is tremendous political pressure to bring in more female cadets, affirmative action style. Many of these women are unable to meet the physical conditioning requirements needed to fly a $40 million aircraft into combat.
What better way to get the government to back off from its financial claim on you than to "cry rape?" The possibility of a windfall from a civil suit exists as well.
For the people who believe all these sexual assault charges, I have an empty seat for you at my weekly poker game. Bring lots of money, stupid.

Heh, I had a conversation with someone a few days ago about the law saying it's not consensual sex if the women is drunk. The person I was talking to said "men can take advantage of women when they're drunk. And men should realize maybe they shouldn't have sex with a drunk girl if they don't want to get in trouble." Oh, really? Well women can take advantage of men with false allegations as well. And when a man is drunk his inhibitions about having sex with a drunk girl are going to be negated just as much as the drunk woman's inhibitions about having sex are! Basically what the non-consent when drunk law means is that men are held responsible for their actions but women aren't. What a turn of events that is.
I still haven't scrounged up enough money to hire a domestic and then violent/violate her.

I agree totally with this. If people who make false allegations are never held responsible for their lies, there is no deterrent.
If those who made false allegations were gaoled, and made to pay compensation to their victim, the incidence of false rape and DV accusations would be greatly reduced.
