Stop a moment and think as to how offensive and condescending this statement is. It implies that no SAHM could be capable of critical thinking.
I think it boils down to a matter of "should i do something?" See, if we take this as an example, its not that all SAHMs are incapable of critical thinking. the thing is, all those media oprah shows they watch, do not even make them think. i mean, SAHMs can think. but they are apt to choose not to.. because they want those things they pick up from the media to be true. ooh we are oppressed! yes its true! men are useless! yes its true!
no doubt yes, there will be some SAHMs who do see through the bullshit. but many wouldn't even bother because they just want some sort of twisted satisfaction from thinking that they "have the worst job in the world" and therefore the world should put them on a pedestal to be worshipped.

Niall, its not so much that the white males want to be victims, but rather, they are pissed that they are told they cannot possibly be victims. Damn, if whites are to get over the wrongdoings against them now, then all the other victims should also get over the bias against their *ancestors*.. if not eventually whites will continue to be marginalised for the crimes their ancestors did... 3000 years ago...
If anything, aside from white supremists, most white guys just want to have everyone be held to the same standards.

True, some of them may in fact wallow in victimhood, and I agree that would be very tedious... but it does not make it right to say they are never victims simply because they are white males.

People think white males can never be discriminated against, and so they think they are justified in screwing them over.
I suppose a middle ground should be made...?
Alicia, I do agree that we should check our behaviour, and not degenerate into feminism with a sex change, but we have to be careful not to overdo it, because I see the general public as being too far indoctrinated by the media. Perhaps not as mindless I am making it up to be, but the public has never been capable of actually finding out the actual facts for themselves.
