Note the zero sympathy for the man; the lack of background info, the lack of inquiry into his mental state, the lack of a search for reasons. Note the transfer of this man's likely only possession, his home, from his name to his ex-wife's. He was 73 and was basically made homeless from this divorce. I assume his wife chose to end the marriage, and she ended up with the home. An order of protection is used as proof of wrongdoing on his part, even though no wrongdoing is required to attain one.

Obviously killing all those people was wrong. However we have to look at what caused this man, a man with presumably no criminal record for 73 years, to snap and kill these specific people before killing himself. I can probably guess with reasonable accuracy what happened, but the majority of people wouldn't even bother to ask. They just don't care. In fact if he had only killed himself no one at all would care who he was or what happened to him.

This is just deeply sad.

Just ran across this and after reading a few comments had to pass it on. Since it is still Lent I can't get all riled up and rant about it, but I can at least hand it to you guys. The comments are just appalling.

Main / Taking a break
Feb 27, 2011, 02:51 PM
I just wanted to let everyone know I am taking a break from the computer for a while. I find myself getting very argumentative, worked up, and frustrated by a lot of things on the internet, as well as obsessively spending time on it and I think I need to just walk away for a while. I will check my email once a day, so if anyone needs anything pm me.  I have a lot of artistic endeavors as well as family and working full time, so this will be a good chance to live in the real world a little more.

See you in a few months.

So the first sister gets released for kidney problems. The second sister gets released to donate. Then they are both too fat to do so, and one smokes too much, so they are working with a personal trainer. The really fat sister with the kidney problem may be getting stomach surgery to help her lose weight.

Who is PAYING for all this, anyways??????

Their crime wasn't that important because they only netted $200...never mind the assault on two men. That can't possibly be relevant.

Ok, I understand it is real that some women get PTSD from labor. I understand that some medical professionals do things which are totally out of line. I also understand that this can cause long lasting effects on the women experiencing them.

I do NOT understand how this is rape.

I think it diminishes the definition of rape.

Not everything traumatic to women is rape.

Video 1

Glenn does an excellent job representing the fathers movement, and Joy, to her credit, takes a serious look at celebrity fathers and custody cases, and supports the father's rights to their kids. I was very surprised because of her time on The View, but she really did a great job.

Planned parenthood has egg on it's face and may lose all federal funding. As I keep saying, in the words of feminists ..."Go build your own"....and fund it too.

Main / another site
Feb 01, 2011, 05:49 AM
I decided to stop posting on manboobz because we were just driving up traffic and post numbers. Obviously he nor anyone else there wanted to hear another side of the story, and quite franly I was getting bored of repeating my self. Now he gets barely 20 replies to a post, compared to 60+ he was getting when we were all there.

I still pop in when I am bored, and maybe I shouldn't. It is just frustrating. He outright tried to tell me he is not targetting the MRM, then continues to do so. His posts are entirely strawman-he takes a quote, often out of context, puts his spin on it, then breaks it down. It is so illogical as to be bordering on the absurd. It just pisses me off that these sorts of sites are out there for people who do not have both sides to see. They hear the feminist side ad nausium, then if they try to find the men's side it is likely they will find a site like mb. Since most folks are not critical thinkers, they will buy into his crap rather than actually talk to an MRA.

It is frustrating, and makes me wish I understood more about internet marketing and search engines so we could tweak what people are shown when they make a search. If they search for men's rights, they actually find some sites representative of men's rights, not subversive feminist sites.  You know damn well the feminists have done the same thing.

That is knew this was illegal. I cannot think of a song by a man who advocates destruction of property for cheating. In fact, if a man did this he would be considered abusive.

Right now he's probably slow dancing with a bleach blond tramp,
and she's probably getting frisky...
right now, he's probably buying her some fruity little drink cause she can't shoot whiskey...

Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool-stick, showing her how to shoot a combo...

And he don't know...

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats...
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

Right now, she's probably up singing some
white-trash version of Shania karaoke..
Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk"
and he's a thinking that he's gonna get lucky,
Right now, he's probably dabbing on 3 dollars worth of that bathroom polo...
And he don't know...

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats,
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

I might've saved a little trouble for the next girl,
Cause the next time that he cheats...

Oh, you know it won't be on me!

No...not on me
'Cause I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up 4 wheel drive,
carved my name into his leather seats...
I took a Louisville slugger to both headlights,
slashed a hole in all 4 tires...

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

Oh.. Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats...

Ohh... before he cheats...

If these guys did this, they are monsters, just as much as the women who molest or abuse their foster children.

I have one questions on this, though. It says victim 1 was taken to Vegas where the alleged perp and she were married. How could she have been married without her consent? It just seemed odd.

EXCELLENT article about the dangers of demonizing men, written by a woman. It is of course written mainly with the intent that we are less safe when doing this, rather than the inherant wrongness of the act, but even so it hits the high points. Good for this journalist!

This time those idiots are protesting the funerals of the recent political shooting, including the 9 year old. They are scumbags, those so called churchgoers. Can you imagine having these people picket your baby's funeral??

Sounds like there is a large counter movement to block the protesters that is bridging partylines. I think that is awesome.

Main / O/T- going to a concert...
Jan 08, 2011, 08:02 PM
OK, this is totally off topic, but I am psyched so I'll spill the beans.

Our oldest is in college, and our youngest is 15, so we won't have many years left together as a family. So we decided to take the youngest to his first real concert as a family vacation.

http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/2011/

:greener: :greener: :greener:

We'll be flying to the UK for 5 days to go to the Download Festival, which is one of the worlds top metal fests. I am particularly excited because System of a Down is playing, and they just rock my world. So far SoaD, Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie and Linkin Park are the headliners, and we should be getting more of the lineup at the end of the month.  Almost 300 bands will be playing over 3 days. Soad is only getting back together for the month of June in Europe, so this may be the only time we will ever see them again. (I am hoping they stay together but there is no guarantee.)

We have never taken an official family vacation that didn't involve camping with the inlaws or a cheezy resort with my folks. We are a little overdue on that one. We will be camping at the concert, as the lines going in and out extend 10 miles.

I also am hoping we can get into Lionhead Studios for a tour before the concert, they make some of the boys favorite video games (that includes Dave).

That's it. Chuck Norris the comic foil, looking guilty for displeasing mom, and fainting as the woman does the dirty work.

I give up.

Main / Early feminists were pro-life

http://www.usnews.com/opinion/blogs/letters-to-the-editor/2010/12/27/like-sarah-palin-early-feminists-were-pro-life

I gotta hand it to Palin, she is really rocking the boat. This is an excellent article. There was one quote that said it all:

Quote
Elizabeth Cady Stanton lamented in a personal letter, "When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit." [Letter to Julia Ward Howe, October 16, 1873]

Two points: Of course it is also degrading to children that we treat them as property. And even as she keeps a pro-life stance she plays the double victim. Women are victims when treated as property, AND when they treat others as property. Logic would dictate that women are the oppressors of children, not their victims. This could be explained by the idea the feminists had that if women were not oppressed they would never need an abortion. Unfortunately this proved the opposite.

If this were about women we would have the word 'rape' in the headline. This is a sick situation, of young men raping other young men. Not even sure where to start disecting this one.
