We even got a letter back from the next PM of the UK..
I have been doing stuff like this for the last 6 years or so, far more satisfying than asking nicely for an audience with the godvernment lackeys!
Men need to take to the streets and make themselves heard!!
One of the tried and tested ways for folk to escape feelings of overwhelming oppression and a lack of power in the face of their "oppressors" is to retreat..
There are various styles and methods of retreat, my personal favourite is to not contribute tax revenues to the state, which basically, if more folk did this, would result in the state losing its power by being starved of its lifeblood..
One of the paradoxes of the MRM I have noted is that many folk seem to think that it is possible to persuade the godvernment to change while at the same time propping it up and thus validating its existance..
I am an ex f4j, real f4j, new f4j, WTF4J, activist who has partaken in a good number of actions for the cause..
Having been banned from all groups (apart from, paradoxically, the most moderate ones of all), on the grounds of being anti-state, anti "family courts" and promoting the idea of male headship of families in marraige, court and work strikes and other petty reasons..
I have come to the conclusion that the mens movement is more interested in petty bickering and falling out over the way other supposed "comrades" in the movement choose to tie their shoelaces than in actually attacking the enemy in any meaningful and effective way..
My personal interest now in the cause is primarly to get something in place a "code" that will hopefully be a useful way of helping folk work together effectively..
My confidence in the abilities of the movement to get its own house in order have never been particularly high, and such a view has not been altered for some time..
However, I am not one for giving up easily, (more fool me!)..
Pleased to meet you all!
During the year of 2009, some debate has gone on regarding the merits of developing a "code" that could be used by folk to help promote unity, reduce the risk of divisiveness that affects the movement badly, and generally, promote good practice for activists of the cause..
The following poll is asking for opinions on this, and it is requested that future discussion on the code be focused in this thread for ease of referrence, moderation, etc..
