Colin Powell, I would vote for in a second. JC Watts, I would vote for in a second. Condoleeza, I would vote for in a second. Obama, hell fucking no...

I'm an engineering major in New Orleans and my campus is fucking feminized enough as it is. I actually derailed my advanced German class yesterday because some women's studies major brought up that women make sixty cents on the dollar compared to men.
Being an older guy going back to school, I quickly explained how year end annual incomes were being compared without regards to weekly hours worked, or occupational choice and it ground the class to a halt for a few minutes.
*pulls hair out*

That sort of intelligence, introspection and honesty should scare the shit out of any real racists.

One of these peoples' biggest problems was that they identified themselves as married. They should've simply identified themselves as baby mamas who are in transient relationships with multiple baby daddies, like so many do in New Orleans. White people have so much to learn...

Btw, I don't mean to sound disparaging to gamers, I'm only really talking about what works for me. I realize that other may play games with their girlfriends or have different situations.

You thought that because her sexual appeal didn't work for you, that things had gone too far?
You make my point for me but you seem to think that if you are NOT a prisoner to her sexual charm, then YOU are wrong. You just gave her control.
It's not about being a slave to her sexual charm or control, it's about equality and humanism. We both have sexual attraction for one another, show me a relationship where that is gone and I'll show you a relationship that for all practical purposes, is over. When a chick is begging to blow you and instead you're staring at the screen at 2:00 AM, something is wrong buddy.

Give them a chance, they have a way of pulling you in. After you have given them a chance, come back and talk to us.
I spent an entire summer seven years ago playing Day of Defeat online. I got to where I was up until 2 or 3 every morning because I had to be at the top of the fraq list. My girl would always beg me to come to bed and I'd be like, "In a little bit...".
One night she came in my computer room in a some hot lingerie wanting to me to come to bed so she could blow me and I was like "In a little bit...". About fifteen minutes later I realized things had gone too far and I turned the PC off. I had a short stint with call of duty of couple of years later, but overall, they are just time wasters and threats to productivity in your life IMO.

disagree SG
if one is a grown man, pays their own bills....................they should be able to play whatever the hell they want to
Oh, I know my opinion isn't for everyone. I know too many people who sit around smoking pot, glued to the couch, playing playstation or Xbox all night, as they complain about "the man" and nothing in their lives gets done. I would rather at least try to be productive and be the guy who builds the new shed, starts the neighborhood group, keep his cars washed, etc.
I think there is something about being a productive human being instead of wasting your time in sloth pursuits that makes you feel great as a man. I understand that sports can be leisure to some, but I still feel sports to be productive as you are honing your skills and getting off the couch.
I don't know, I feel like playing video games is just childish if you are a grown man.

I'm going to have to say, I can't defend grown men who sit around and play video games. Once you reach a certain age and transition into manhood, I believe (at least for my son's sake) that you should endeavor to go outside and play some sports, do things productive and constructive, etc. Sitting around on a couch all day hoping to beat some high score goes against every fiber of my being with regards to what it means to be a man.
Boys play video games, grown men go out and get things done. Just my two cents...

I'm all about guns, but I'm not sure this is the proper context to post about AK's. Just a distraction that gives lefties ammo to cast the movement in a negative light. Yes, I know it isn't right, but that's how it is. Why not post about your kit at AK-47.net?
We're fighting an uphill battle on perception as it is man.

what about guys with mullets and gold grills?
Hey, Gonz is great with the issues, but he looks like Joe Dirt. I respect his contributions and all...

Goths are rejects from Punk Culture.
Emos are rejects from Goth Culture.
You made me laugh with this comment.
It would be funny except renaissance fair guys with mullets, well, don't have a lot of room to talk.

......................100 of these emo fuckers in a cage match with 100 suburban wiggers? who wins?
most of these emo types are quite and introverted, no?
I see emo types as intelligent and well meaning, but misguided. I see wiggers as simply stupid wastes of humanity that deserve to be chalked up as a wrong turn on the evolutionary roadmap.

I get a lot of flack for this, BUT I truly believe that at least part of the reason the emo thing took root is because of pervasive liberal feminism. If anyone remembers, the "grunge" movement in the early nineties had a very feminist "anti-testosterone" undercurrent to it. Kurt Cobain openly admitted it, as did Eddie Vedder. Being a traditional male was seen as bad and oppresive and the general thought was we should be more like women.
That morphed into bands like Jawbreaker pushing the "I'm a whiny hopeless male" thing even further, which morphed into today's emo culture. What you have now is a generation of young boys who are weak minded and passive-aggressive, always complaining and shedding their manhood to be played like a fiddle by some chick.
The emo scene has just turned into a parody of itself. For somebody who grew up during the grunge and post-hardcore years, it kind of makes me sick.

Matt O'Connor who is the brains behind the F4J antics says very clearly that most of the stunts they have pulled were designed after studying the early feminists tactics. He is a learned student of the old feminists and applies their successes with a big smile on his face.
So SG, would you rather be a little embarrassed or would you rather we not get any press? I'll take a portion of the embarrassed thank you.
Actually O'Connor is now shifting tactics a bit and easing up on the super heroes idea. I think we will be hearing more from him in the near future. Whatever he does we need to start making some waves here in the US with some creative protests that can make a point and create a stir. Any ideas on how to accomplish that?
I live in New Orleans and constantly come across situations and political events where the cause could be highlighted in a very public way. I guess I just need to think creatively and see where my mind wanders...
