There is always another crash coming, but when? A year from now? Next Thursday?

I predicted the last one very well and warmed people who scoffed. Made some money by selling equity and then buying it back cheaper. But this time I am uncertain. Last time it was obvious.

My feeling is that we can't win the game in the first inning.

The Canadian Constitution is a cautionary tale. It was rewritten in 1982 and explicitly forbids discrimination based on gender or race. Feminists and non-white groups protested that they would have to stop their good work of redressing historical injustice.

So escape clauses were added allowing discrimination, but only against men & boys and also against whites.

Discrimination is now enshrined in our constitution. That would likely be the result in the US as well.

It would be a mistake unless we knew which way it would go. IMO we are not ready for that yet.

I put up with lots of sexual harassment when I was a young man. How big is your penus? Bum pinching. Showing pictures of naked men. etc

But I bet you cannot find a single feminist who would say there was anything wrong with that.

So lets not pretend this has anything to do with sexual harassment. It is about power. Dis-empowering men. So that they will always be afraid.

She saw him as a casualty in her war against men. She is evil.

This is the "Vampire Theory" of sexual abuse. If you have been bitten, then you turn into a vampire too.

If people actually believe that being a victim turns you into a monster, then you would be wise to keep your secret and not tell anyone.

Lets say you are in your 20s and you see clearly now that you were molested by a doctor or teacher for instance. The doctor or teacher will likely continue to molest unless someone steps forward.

But if that makes you a monster? If every time something happens in your neighbourhood, you get a call from police? If you will be marked as a monster then you should probably keep your secret. Most people never tell, because it is already very difficult.

Isn't it great that some jerk is increasing the stigma, but only for boys and men, of course.

You guys are smart fellows. 

A couple years ago, I had a thought to get a bunch of happy male buttons made up. For each person who wrote to me at my Men's Movie Guide and asked for one, I would put one in an envelope and mail it out, no charge. I could put MMG in small font somewhere on the button and call it advertising. What would it cost me? Mostly just time.

Of course I never did it.

But maybe that is all our MRA stuff should be. No anger or unpleasantness.

Just something good, something simple.

Canadians rescued 6 Americans form Iran, but a fictional film gives the credit to the CIA instead.  

Apparently whole sections of the film are fictitious, such as the ending with police chasing the plane down the runway. Never happened.

Afflect, who made a name for himself portraying negative stereotypes of bumbling, moronic men is to blame.

Former President Jimmy Carter said today "Ninety percent of the contribution to the ideas and the consummation of the plan was Canadian and the movie gives almost full credit to the American CIA," he said. Carter said the true hero was the Canadian ambassador Ken Taylor.

Have you read the Old Testament? I have read a fair chunk of it and much of what God's children do is very disgusting and immoral.

I don't want to sacrifice my son on an altar, nor offer my daughters to be raped to calm an angry crowd. Neither do I want to invade and slaughter a neighbouring city just because someone said that God said to do it. Nor would I bar people from entering a temple due to their acne or disabilities believing that these were a punishment for past sins.

Though I reject much of modern culture, I also refuse to act Biblically.
