one thing that i have noticed is the populuarity of "gangsta" rap and the associated clothes, slang, etc that goes around it.
and it struck my mind that in contrast with the rest of pupular cutlure from sit coms to reality shows to books to stand up comedy........."hardcore" or "gangsta" rap is the only element of mainstream pop culture where virility, masculinity and manliness are unquestionably glorified..............such as the BG and webbie song "i aint no bitch"
i am currently working on a article called "anti male media bias and the tony montana idea of manhood" that i hope will be good.

you know, the vast majority of the people who espouse these misdrist views  i believe are not rabid man haters but products of the society we are living in

you will notice that their are far more women in the upper elecons of society who espouse this than poor and working class women(which is ironic because poor and working class women are more at risk to face real sexism than the privileged mupper class femisnists)

marriage can have serveral benifits for a man.......................
1.GOOD CREDIT=marrying a woman with good creadit can help yours
2. BUSINESS=if you marry a woman, especially a woman of color, and both of yalls names are on the business you will qualify for more tax breaks, etc by it being partially "minority  owned

you know, i have a very good friend who is a feminist and a woman's studies major

and one thing i notice about those who go onn about oppression(esxpecially oppression of women), most of them are from priviliged backgrounds.............middle class homes with two parents, never had electricity or water cut off, live in neighborhoods that are fairly safe, etc et al
  those who are truly oppressed dont have time to whine cuz they are tryin to get the hell out IMHO
