Mary Winkler Bond Set - Huh?

Mary Winkler's bond was set today at $750,000.

That's right.   All she has to post is 10% I believe, and she can walk free until her trial.   This for a woman who shot her husband in cold blood, with premeditation, and watched him die instead of getting him medical help.   She shot him in the back as he lay in bed, because they "argued" over finances.   She has been alleged to have been involved in financial misconduct.  

"For her, that's tantamount to no bond at all," said defense lawyer Steve Farese.

By comparison - the boys in the Duke case had bond set at $400,000 - when there was no crime committed at all.

Blatant is too weak a word.

Does she have a lot of money?  I couldn't come up with 75K.   Don't they freeze your assets when you shoot someone in the back or anything?  I thought sometimes they did, maybe I'm way off base here.

Well, we don't know for sure that nothing happened in the Duke case (heh) and the rationale for their 400k bail (ooh they're all spoiled white kids too I've been told) was that they had a serious flight risk, no connections to the community etc. etc..

She's not rich, Mrs. Shades, but in cases like these, they were saying on the news today, there are friends and family who are willing to put their resources together to get her out.    Members of their church are willing to testify "in her defense", whatever that means.

What defense can there be for this?

Even putting aside the heinousness of the crime, the woman is a flight risk.   She's already run away with the children in tow.

If this were a man, there would be no bond.

In America, IMO, these kinds of monster Moms have flocked to the gender feminist movement and gender feminist online blogs in droves.  Many of these Moms are in the domestic violence industry - running it.  Thanks to VAWA they now have VAWA to continue their psycho abusive behavior.   :?

When one looks at the cumulative effect of the violence coming from these kinds of cold, calculating monster Moms, they make the occasional Father who is driven over the edge look like the poor, isolated, persecuted Dad he truly is.   :?

When are these kinds of monstrous, battering Mothers going to be held accountable for the massive abuse and harm they are doing to children, men and families in our society? :scratchchin:

They don't usualy grant any bond in a capital murder case in Tenessee.
