No I am not posting this to start a race baiting skirmish, but rather to bring to the attention of any black SYG'ers that this professor is lumping black males in with pro-feminist men as a demographic group.  This is a popular tactic that I strongly urge everyone to resist.  Gender is a far more significant social factor than race, and they are trying to sidestep this fact by demonizing white males to bolster their pathetic movement.  Not that you didn't already know that, just showing the latest example.

She also acknowledges that, as a female scholar, she brings an outsider's sensibility to men's issues.

LOL - sure, men can never know how it feels to be a woman - or so it goes according to these kinds of feminist who write these books.

But when a women consider how it is to be a man "she brings a sensibility."

These peole are so full of bullshit that it amazes me anybody takes them seriously, but sadly many academics do.

The educational system is no longer. Now it is all about politics and indoctrination.

Nicely put, hansside.

My input:    Move along people, liberal feminist talking, nothing new to see here, move along.

What this bimbo did was sponsor an essay contest because she was too lazy or unable to write a complete book.

Perhaps our writers ar MND could do the same? Main Theme? Men's Rights of course.
Chapters? Numerous:
Choice
Equal Family Rights
Violence
Law
Failure of Feminism
Men squeezed between feminists and religious right
etc.....
Explaining misandry to a feminist is like explaining "wet" to a fish.

University folk that are churning out a new crop of potential lawers reignighting
racial tensions and resentments at every possible opportunity.

Who'd of thunk it?

I only see this kind of effort to keep driving a wedge from
folks whos justifcation for existance is DEPENDANT on continued conflict.

Much like advocates and ancilliaries of new and improved "civil" and "family" court law, as well as the proponents for "special protections" and "hate" enhanced
statutes, these folk -and their duped allies- seem to consider themselves qualified
to bestow absolution from integrity, as long as you adorethem.

Once they've attained tenure, a partnership, or that Westchester estate, well...

How many times does it have to happen this way?
As many times as cloistered academics sprout off a "new batch" of indoctorinated
specialists too addled and incompetent to consider anything else, and as many times as there are an generation whos mere existance threatens their sphere of influence by ignoring their crocodile tears.

Well, I know, let's pass a law.....

This is the passage I was referring to:

"real men" who are not feminine, not gay, not boys and not black. And so the very idea of a "real man," Mutua argues, is inherently racist.

This is how feminists try to lump every biological organism on earth in one group-oppressed by white men.  Go to the various feminist websites and see how long it takes you to get to "white men" being singled out, or even websites that have "white male" in the masthead.  This is why only rape cases where the potential convict is white interest them.  People need to start calling them on their overt racism.

...almost forgot.  This NBA player that is suspended for saying "I hate gay people" is hilarious.  Here we have a black male, getting filty rich off the American economic system, denouncing homosexuals.  Another story feminists will mysteriously ignore.

1st off sorry I have not been posting a lot lately, I have been consumed with my military job, and ironically have less time to post now, then when I was in Iraq.

Second, I DO lurk here all the time, and it's great to see so many dedicated "old hands" and many new "faces"

This comment was right on the money:

The multi-culturalist NEED us to concentrate on our differences versus us coming together and standing TOGETHER.

They artificially create racial/religious/gender tensions because without those tensions they are out of a job.  And their new Lexus is more important than a strong united America.

This is a perfect example of why I stopped going to that
college. The politics and liberalism were at an insane level.

I'm  a   RAGING   MRA.  I'm  also  Black  and  Proud.   Feminazi  hate  all  men, regardless  of  race,  sexual  preference,  nationality, religion   or  whatever.  I'm  proud  to  be  among  you.

That  professor  can  go  to  Hades.

Sorry Isnt Good Enough

See when you don't speak up they include you in their group.  The most prominent black MRA type I can think of is that lawyer guy from Pittsburgh who is suing "dontdatehimgirl" because he got  slandered all over it.  I admire the guy for taking the fight to these people in a very public manner.  He can be vice president of the MRA movement behind the Duke lacrosse players.  It would be a good thing to get Americans of other races (asian, latino) to loudly proclaim that feminists don't speak for them and they don't support their movement.

I think that  in light of the  Duke Lacrosse case, white men are becoming aware that the "potential rapist" and savage labels can be put on them as well.  getting "miss anne'd " is an old  black term in the south  for what we call getting nifonged now.  another trend that will IMO bring black and white MRA's/sympathizers together is the trend of traditionally black communities being populated  by mexican americans and mexcans; fueling a "black flight" to working class white suburbs(compton californiia is now  like 40% hispanic, and  many of the neighborhoods that used to be mostly black are now mostly mexican in both houston and dallas).

I read once that most lynchings were associated with allegations of rape by white women. Either white women were particularly prone to being raped by black men; or they were just horny and wanted to preserve their reputation as "a lady."

I sense some serious karma coming for me and my white sisters.

You guys have no idea how it does my heart good to read all of your insightfull posts on this topic.

I was dismissed as a crank and pushed into obscurity for having made thes obsevations more than 20 years ago.

Now might I advise you to stop insulting your own intelligence. Might I advise you to stop dignifying this bullshit by even giving it sufficient credibility to deserve debate in response.

Being dogmatic and doctrinaire about a political ideology is a voluntary form of autism.

You need not feel obliged to give an intellectual response to militant mindlessness or willfull ignorance.

Study the rhetorical approach of the great commedians and great statesmen of history.

Try to relearn the manly art of telling people off.
