Skeptics have no trouble debunking religion, alternative medicine, UFOs, and so on. When the modern superstitions are discussed, they get in trouble. The is not much discussion about postmodernism, IQ, feminism, ...

The phenomenon may be worth a study and some action may be taken.

It is not astonishing, because many sceptics are often antireligious leftist and are swallowing the lefty religions whole.

Some of the same people who denounce the existance of God believe in a mother Ghai and the end of the earth due to global warming. Their snickering trick is to say its not technically a religion so they aren't like religious people, which is a load of crap.
