TMOTS, I wasn't trying to make you cow to as you say to PC correctness or prevent you from expressing your opinion nor did I call you a bigot as you stated. But that word and the way YOU used it made it very clear not only to me but to everyone else who read your post just how you intended it to mean and to reinforce it with the comment "if it offends anyone too bad" speaks volumes..... at least to me. Your comments about what you would do if it happened to you and you were "packin" are right on but another matter totally separate from your derogatory statements. This is not about PC but about just plain ol' respect for yourself and for others who read your words. Believe me this is not the first time I've heard a perceived white person justify the use of the word so I know it's more about anger spoken aloud and not directed at me specifically. HOWEVER the word "NIGGER" is found in the English dictionary as a word used only in a derogatory manner. Now had you used the word "NIGGARDLY" you might of been able to have pulled it off.
I have read many of your posts and know that you have a good command of the English language so I'm sure you could have used another word just as effective to get your point/ feelings across. Your choice and the manner in which you chose to use this particular word is offensive and produces an negative effect whether intended or not. Now it's a bit ingenious after using it and claiming a "right" to use it in the manner you did because the word has only the intended definition that you arbitrarily desire. For example and only for example, me calling the other men in the video who for whatever reason stood there a like statutes right next to the guy as he was being assaulted by that black thug, gutless, cracker peckerwood honkys because after all as you say that's what they were, is a racist epithet on my part and a unnecessary description and once uttered or printed shows not only my PERSONAL view on their lack of character but also shows for anyone hearing or reading my own angry racist characterization. I could have gotten my indignation and anger across without the obvious and intentional slur. How many readers both white and non white would my words have pissed off? Morally can I really show such arrogance and be so indifferent to words that I know are universally offensive? Where does my culpability lie?
Your reference to PC correctness which by the way sickens most of us , refers to the almost laughable way once used seemingly non offensive terms to describe a person or what they do or what they are, has now become offensive and like everything else in this county has gotten out of control. Illegal aliens are now immigrants, crippled people are handicapped or, a trash man is a sanitation engineer, retarded folks are specially challenged and probably the stupidest one I've heard yet, hookers are now called sex workers. The word nigger has AWAYS been a derogatory word, used exclusively as a slur against black people. Your claim that by me bringing attention to your use of the word it infringes on some right you have and is just another PC mandate is just plain not true.
TMOTS ,the word nigger the most offensive name you can call a black person (more than spear chucker, sambo, coon, bush monkey .ect) should never be use .....by anyone but especially when purposely meant as a slur in anger. Anyone can act niggardly as people of any race can be ignorant, cheap or contemptable such as blacks who refer to each other as "niggas" which is a word not in my vocabulary. I dislike repeating myself but I will say this again we do not need to be throwing slurs around when we are trying to gather all men together to fight the fight. Peace.
