Hilarious isn't it? Back when nature dictated what choices you got for men and women you had a family whether you thought it was a good idea or not. It wasn't perfect but it worked well enough to give us dominion over the whole planet. Now that humanity (read women) has a choice we're working real hard to put ourselves out of the race. Just another example of humanities amazing ability to screw up nature.
I can't wait to see what's going to happen when the male pill and the artificial womb become available. Men are going to be able to wait as long as they want to have kids and won't need a woman's permission (read decision) to have children. Hell, they won't even need the woman.
In a way I feel really badly for women as a group. The sexual revolution blew up in their face and soon the reproductive revolution will too. Everything they once had to offer men is going down the toilet. They're feeling it too if the articles I've seen about how they can't find "a good man" are any indication. It's really kind of sad. Sure, there are good marriages and two parent families out there but they're getting less and less common.
All this doesn't really affect us guys though which is nice. Yeah, I know there's plenty of other stuff we have to deal with. The Y chromosome may or may not be extinct in 5 million years but I have a feeling that the X is in a lot more trouble. They just don't fully realise it yet.
