Frankly, I am having a hard time believing either of you. She has no reason to lie about being banned.

Someone is lying here, and Murphy has nothing to gain by doing so.
In the past few days, all sorts of shit has hit the fan, pardon my expression. I am relatively new here and I don't know the history, nor does it interest me to know it. But I do know that things have been going on that haven't been above board and kosher.
What I am seeing from an observationist's perspective, does not put things in a positive light.
