i feel like i'm having deja vu and i've never even been to this site before. anyway, i was trying to respond to someone about calling me a hypocrite because i said taking away a child from a "feminist" mother is extreme. hillary clinton is a feminist...should chelsea have been taken away from her? i thought it was absurd to say. there are all types of women out in the world and all types of mothers. no two are the same.

as far as giving a young, naive girl advice on how to protect herself and her child from a potentially hazardous situation with the biological father being a drug addict...i see nothing wrong with giving her legal information that is already available to her. i'm happy to tell ANY mother in a CRISIS PREGNANCY what she can do. walk a day in a woman's shoes who is pregnant and in a crisis situation and then you can talk crap to me. oh but i doubt one person in here has! i've walked down that road. i could have aborted. i could have given up when the bio dad was stalking me, pointed a gun at my head, man handled me, etc. i had to find out for myself all of the legal shit that was available to me and i will tell people what they can do because I'VE BEEN THERE. i knew my rights because i have available resources to me - not every mother-to-be does, especially the poor, and undereducated. my hatred for my child's bio dad grows less and less the more time that passes. i only feel sorry that he cannot be anything but miserable and uses me as a scapegoat for his problems. i just don't want anyone else to have to go through what i went through...a lot of abuse.

You want to do such a thing, there are legal channels to do so, provided you prove it in a court of law.

You advocated game-playing.  Bad Troll.  No cookie.

And enough of your sisters have made false accusations of such things just to get the easy advantage in such situations that I am not about to take the mere unsupported claim at face value from any woman any more.  Family law attorneys routinely advise their clients so, that some have said NOT to do so would be tantamount to malpractice.

Take it up with them.

And as much of a hate movement that feminism is, I'd be as inclined to allow a couple Klansmen to raise a black child as a feminist raise a boy.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am the MEANEST son-of-a-bitch in the valley.

So why is it that the resources are all setup to help women only on that?? The exact same abuse help that refused me any assistance at all helped her repeatedly. Even today I have problems with her stalking me and passing out my information for people to harass me. I have been cleared in eight separate investigations claiming I molested our daughter and numerous protective orders claiming I stalk and abuse her but there is nothing that they have been willing to do to stop her. Mean while she admitted prostitution in court, proof of her having affairs was declared irrelevant and a CHILD HAS DIED but still she has more rights than they ever granted me.

Abuse? Yeah, I know all about it since I went through it while married and the system has supported continued abuse of me and our children since based strictly on gender. You can study all the legal help available but if you REALLY studied it you would find it is gender based even when they claim it is not. Until you have a cop slam you against a wall for daring to report your children being abused and his threatening you because she claimed it was a lie and you were just harassing her, you have no idea what abuse it. I have the pictures, witnesses and recordings to prove my case and what I say but that amounts to nothing compared to strictly her own statements as far as our system cares.

Not a single person here supports abuse of ANY kind, what the members here have issue with is that the system cares more about gender than facts and believes men are disposable while women are above the laws. Instead of going off, try reading the various statements and posts.

You have no idea if this person you gave advice to was actually abused. You also were not giving legal advice, but advice on how to cut a parent out of a child's life. There is a big difference there. What you were advocating WAS child abuse-denying a child access to a parent.

And I was not "talking crap" to you. I was giving you an educated opinion. What did you want, to be able to come here, spout some petty sexist and childish drivel, and have us say "Oh, wow, you are so right. How could I have not seen it before!"

Well, guess what? It ain't gonna happen.

Hmm, the plot thickens! So, where did she stalk you from BQ? I am interested in what she said and where.

i knew my rights because i have available resources to me - not every mother-to-be does, especially the poor, and undereducated.

WOW!
I believe that ANY female, ANYWHERE in the US and Canada that can't find "special sanctuary", including housing, "support", free legal services, expulsion and order of protection from the alleged offender, "instant" welfare cash,  all escorted by law enforcement and all prepaid with tax dollars, with a mere 911 or 411 call, might be found too mentally incompetent to manage her own affairs by ANY Social Services Professional, let alone be responsible for the care of an infant.

The Biscuit Queen

She didn't.  Someone linked to a thread she posted on giving a woman advice on how to keep her boyfriend from getting on the birth cert, how to move so he could not get visitation, etc.

no i totally agree that the roles can be reversed. there ARE a LOT of abusive women out there. i've witnessed it and i despise them just as much as that dood who is my child's bio dad. i tried telling my guy friend to get out of a relationship with this psycho chick because she was just as controlling and manipulative as the man who is my child's bio dad. but, honestly, she's a lot worse because she's a woman and women always have power over men. kwim?
