Don't you guys find it fascinating that when a man commits fraud, breaks the law etc, he does not get money or offers to pose nude or be in movies and commercials but women,
and  yellow journalist  males, working the system,  and DESPERATE for angle wings,
attention, and more gm'mint funding[
  do?
all bold mine.
Just when I thought NH had a handle on such things.

*sigh* The State paper has a fairly even policy of publishing points of view from ALL extremes within the state. I'll point out that, In My Humble Opinion,  DOVER N.H.  is in the deep south, and under the  influence of a Massachusetts exodus of folk willing to expatriate for tax refugee status, but not to leave their "Me too!" socialist entitlement attitudes at the border.

Yep! The offers are ROLLING in

He also needs to apologize to women in general for suggesting that they should be treated as disposable sexual objects by men.
Which, of course, NEVER HAPPENED

But the problem is far greater than a violent expression of hypocrisy by a government official. It is a reflection of a deeply embedded misogynistic attitude that subordinates and endangers all women and children.

It is an attitude suggesting that women are men's property. As such, it condones, even encourages, violence against women in all its forms, including domestic violence, rape and stalking in addition to prostitution and pornography.

But don't some women choose to be prostitutes so they can make a lot of money?
Well.....yes.

Quote
There are many problems with this question. First, the pimps and brothels in control of these women typically collect the majority of payment. Second, if the prostitute does not perform as demanded, not only will she not be paid, but she is likely to be beaten, raped, drugged, and/or threatened by the pimp or john.

Wow! Now THERE'S an argument about what an innocent men "is likely" to endure (and worse) in prison, for years, when falsely accused of sexual assault of a child, as per instructions of SOME "advocates", in family court custody determinations.
Quote
If you want to know their real experience, ask the women who have escaped prostitution and are struggling with suicidal ideation, depression, addictions and other natural and devastating consequences of the sexual violence they have endured.

Like Anna Nichole I suppose.  Excuse me, um, Mr. Hampton? ANY chance of such fucked up life situations LEADING to a choice of whore as a careerer, in contrast to as a RESULT of it?
Quote
So the appropriate question isn't, Don't some women choose to be prostitutes? Instead, we should ask, Why would any man want to violate a woman in this way, and when will we insist that it stops?
Oh, well alrighty then!

Scott Hampton of Lee is executive director of Ending the Violence of Dover, which provides intervention services to perpetrators of domestic and sexual violence.

I wonder if any of HIS income  RELIES on court sentencing,  or parole board, conditions?
I wonder how much such an executive director pulls down in an average year?

I'm STILL waiting to hear when Cristal Gale Magnum.....ur..um....when The alleged whore in this Spitzer case is appearing before a judge for victimization by virtue of being prostituted and tax evasion.

In the meantime, I hope the subsequent solicitations she's allegedlyentertained from media sources, will temporarily  support her lifestyle in the manner to which she has become accustomed!

... and tax evasion.

Call girls who work on a cash basis HAVE sometimes forgotten to declare their entire income, I suspect.

Are these girls prosecuted for tax evasion? Somehow I doubt it.

If you look at what some of these call girls make, we're also talking about some pretty substantial amounts that don't make it onto tax returns.

You have to hand it to modern women, they sure do know how to make money.

The Gonzman

Well, I'm not going to go after Eliot for going after a hooker; the only thing to be said for Mrs. Spitzer is she beats the hell out of Hillary.

Which ain't saying much.

Since I don't believe prostitution should be illegal, I can hardly condemn him for it.

His hypocrisy, though, is a different story...

And as for the femionist contention that prostitutes should walk free and their johns punished, it's laughable.  Ity's like a cop spotting a guy buying a few joints out of a trunk full of pot and arresting the buyer, while allowing the dealer to go free.

With the dope.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am the MEANEST son-of-a-bitch in the valley.

I will add this Gonz:

He stood up in a church and swore a solemn vow before God to be true to his ife. In breaking that oath he shows himself unworthy to call himelf a man and deserving of our contempt.
You may sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence upon those who seek to harm you.

Understood,
It just jumped out at me while I was pointing at the Angel jumping on the bandwagon with yellow journalismand piling on after the whistle, with
desperate delusions of heroic Sinclairian muck raker  grandeur, in order to re-ignite a public outcry, justifying  the continued court ordered (I suspect) transference of assets
from innocent parties for the municipally bureaucratic determined value for the "intervention services" his ilk apparently deem worthy of tenacious ensconcement.

*sigh* I't been a crappy morning!
