Nancy Pelosi's speech at the DNC

Did anyone hear Nancy Pelosi's speech at the DNC?  I heard part of it on NPR while driving home.  At one point she kept saying "Barack Obama is right and John McCain is wrong."  It sounded repetitive, as if she was trying to brainwash the masses.  The crowd could be heard chanting along, like a bunch of sheep. 

Kind of reminded me of Orwell's Animal Farm, where the sheep keep bleating "Four legs good, two legs baaaaad."

Nope but it seems there are a bunch of problems with Hillary supporters being called racist names and jumping to support McCain and even going on national ads saying so.

The other two links are videos and the second is an interesting ad some say goes too far but I think it has a good point. For a guy talking about famiy and taking care of each other all the time, he seems to feel abandoning his own brother to a shack on a dollar a month is not a problem. Compare that to how he treats all women in his life around him. I would like to see what happens when he eats out a couple of times and see if he tips females and not males or just tips them a lot more.

Of course if the situation was reverse, democrats would be running this on national ads as proof they don't care about people and are just mean hearted bastards ruled by the patriarchy.

I was listening to the commentators on TV, but had to turn it off, as they just kept fawning over Michelle Obama, repeatedly calling her "strong woman," which doesn't really mean anything.

Notice how they always have to say "First woman speaker of the House" or whatever for Nancy Pelosi.  OK already, stop rubbing our noses in it.

It's nauseating how they kowtow to women and ignore men's concerns.

Imagine if they talked about men like that: "And now Barack Obama... who's a strong man." Boy that would sound absurd. I think this is insulting to women. It implies unless you do things their way, you're not strong. I doubt they would ever introduce Condi Rice as "strong woman" even thought she could eat Michelle Obama's soul if she wanted to.

Ms. Pelosi's "speach" at the Democrat National Convention is just time filler for show.
Kinda' like the "roster" vote announcements.

I'm more concerned what she says in the halls of Congress. For someone who
proclaims drilling holes is "BAD", she seems to excel in digging her own, and her party's,
approval rating amongst ALL Americans even deeper into a hole, on a consistent basis.

Maybe it's just my perception.
