Grown women have been throwing fits and tantrums as far back as recorded history. No news here...
Actually, it is news! I think tantrum, fit throwing women is a symptom of a greater malaise and is worthy of note. This is due to the fact that this bad behavior is seen by society as "you go, grrl!" proof of emancipation.
Another reason this is news is that in the past when a woman had their tantrums, they were spanked! Can't do this anymore!
