House International Relations Committee Chairman Henry Hyde is supporting more terrorism against Latin Amrica by Bush (following on from the failed pro-US coup against Venezuela earlier this year).

Just days before Brazilians elected radical populist Lula da Silva as their president on Oct. 27, House International Relations Committee Chairman Henry Hyde (R-Ill.) sent President Bush a powerfully phrased letter warning that a triumvirate of political extremists leading economic powerhouse Brazil, oil giant Venezuela and the terrorist-sponsoring regime of Cuba constitute an emerging "Axis of Evil" that the United States must stop

American trained death squads and terrorist attacks have been less popular in Latin America since the 70's and 80's when the US was regularly killing terrorising and invading across the two continents it first claimed absolute dominion over in the 19th century.

Left-based groups were murdered across the Americas by US trained killers.  But now Brazil has elected a left leaning president who, along with the Venzuelan president Bush tried to have murdered this year, might stand up to US terrorist foreign policies in Latin America.

Presumably Cuba was thrown in just to make an "axis" of evil.

Argentina also might easily fall to the left as a result of the degradations wrought by America on that country this year.

"They also expressed their concern about Mr. Lula da Silva's recent statements indicating an interest in reviving Brazil's nuclear-weapons program, which from 1965-1994 not only wasted enormous resources that could have helped the poor, but also succeeded in designing a 30 kiloton nuclear bomb which could be quickly tested if the program were revived.

LOL.  I love it that they pretend they are concerned with the poor.

It's becoming clear that nuclear weapons are the only way to defend against American terrorism.
