Leftists are so naive

Bernard Chapin had  a really good article up on MND about Michael Jackson.  His basic argument was that jackson had pedophile prints all over him.  He sets up this Neverland ranch in order to lure young children in.  He also sets up fuzzy animals and toys everywhere so the children are weak, empathetic and vulnerable.  Jackson's bizarre behavior, including sleeping in the same bed as the children, make him look guilty.

I was relaying this argument to some leftist minded people I know.  They were insistent that "Jackson just loves children and wants to be around them!!"

I'm not really sure if he is guilty or not, but I lean towards believing he is.  I just wanted to point out the absolutely naive mindest of a leftist who believes "everyone is good deep down."

Ya, I think it's one of those things where anyone who knows him knows he is a pedophile.  95% of rational people stay away and keep their kids away.  Those looking for a quick buck let their kids go, and cash in on the blackmailing ability.  So, he's guilty, but this crack ho of a mother who likely knowingly let her child go their to be molested for the money is guilty too.

Amber, you might be right about the mindset that "people are basically good deep down", you might be wrong...

But you obviously have already formed your opinion as to the guilt or innocence of Michael Jackson.  And for that, you are wrong, and the rightists can be accused of having a mindset of "I know when people are guilty even before their trial" which doesn't lend itself very well to a fair and just legal system... remember... "INNOCENT until proven guilty"  That doesn't mean "probably guilty until proven guilty."

So, the leftists actually have a mindset more in tune with the law... they see Jackson as innocent, which, until he is proven guilty in a court of law, is exactly the mindset the law calls for.

You think he is a pedophile?  That's irrelevant to whether he is guilty of what he's been accused.  Just because someone is a pedophile, which is a psychological disorder, not an action, doesn't mean they ever touch a child.

And just because Mr. Jackson lives in neverland and has toys and children around his home, doesn't mean he's done anything to hurt those children.

If you truly want to see justice prevail, then the best thing you can do is to ignore the situation, and let the courts handle it.  The more in the eye of the public this trial becomes, the less likely the truth is to come out.

Enough mistakes have been made already in the events leading up to the not so inevitable trial because of concerns over public opinion.  Let's stop adding to them.

I specifically said I *wasn't sure* if he was guilty, but that I *leaned that way*.  For Christ's sake, I'm not sitting on the jury.  But it doesn't matter.  My main point was about leftists *refusing to believe some people are criminals*.  They rationalize this Neverland ranch as being only a product of someone who "really likes being around kids ... That's it Murphy.  You're going on ignore.  I tried to put up with you for awhile, several posts, and being nice to you for awhile, but you're stepping over the edge.

I specifically addressed your hysterics about feminine women and size, yet you kept bringing it up and trying, as hard as you can, to find something I said in *offhand* comments, of which had little to do with the issue.  Instead of going to where I addressed it, you rationalized, spun, and begged and pleaded to fit my position into something you wanted it to be.

It had nothing to do with me not being able to "handle criticism."  It had to do with you being emotional, rationalizing my position, and being REALLY HUFFY that I posted pictures of feminine woman.  Frankly, I found you to be completely irrational and did not want to deal/reply to your posts.  You likely get the impression that I couldn't read your posts, hence did such things as not knowing you were a female, because I just plain stopped reading your posts.

So you're going on ignore, for now anyway.  So do you think you could stop spamming the board with your non sensical crap aimed at me?  It's not going to read anyway.
