he men's movement is a hate movement.  

What feminism is to men; the men's rights movement is to women.

Men's rights activists blame misandry for all their problems in the same way that feminists blame the patriarchy.

The only thing men's rights activists are good at is abusing women.  

And you can quote me on that.  :D

I agree.  It seems at least that libertarianism has appropriated some of the ideals of Rand, though from the few Objectivist club meetings I have attended, the feeling isn't exactly mutual.  

I think Objectivism fails as a political ideology simply because it is not political enough, which is unfortunate.   For instance, you can't vote for it, it has no party to speak of, few issues seem to merit its attention etc.

The closest thing to an objectivist political party we have here is www.freedomparty.ca .

Our objectivist  club isn't even active, I don't think.  

It's there, but inactive.
