CHATHAM, Ont. - Police in Chatham, Ont., have charged a woman with assault after her boyfriend was punched twice -- the first time in an alleged dispute over a sandwich.

Investigators say a man made his girlfriend a sandwich Monday evening and when she only ate half, she said he could have the other half.

A short time later, police say the woman became infuriated that the sandwich was missing and punched her boyfriend in the face.

Police say later in the night the two became involved in an unrelated argument and she punched him in the chest.

A 27-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with two counts of assault.

She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

:yikes: What, a man's life worth more than a sandwich?  When will this outrage end?

In the woman's mind, the violence was apparently necessary.  No doubt, the taxpayer funded, gender feminist, domestic violence industry will form a mis-perception of this incident as an intolerable example of police misconduct.  I can hardly wait for the official female and male gender feminists to stomp their feet and scream and shout.  :glasses12:   :protest: :sign5:
Life, Liberty, & Pursuit of Happiness are fundamental rights for all (including males), & not contingent on gender feminist approval or denial. Consider my "Independence" from all tyrannical gender feminist ideology "Declared" - Here & Now!

Did I understand correctly?

She told him that he could eat the other half and when he did that she got angry?

I don't advocate violence but if someone is going to be violent it is far better if  the reason makes just a little sense.

TheManOnTheStreet

Simple assault charges... no DV mention... nothing.

BUT!  As soon as she claims self defense, and she will, the DV machine will start up...

"He was abusive (insert the type of the day here) to me claim in 3.....2......
