As I shopped in a drug store yesterday, I overheard a 7 year old girl tell her brother "Stop farting in front of me!"  I laughed out loud, because that's exactly what I had to go through!  This proves that flatulence is a guy thing.  ;)

Not true Evil....I've tried the ignore route with my kids, it doesn't work.

They still think it's funny as hell to walk up to me, rather innocently, and let one go.

They're just so precious.  :)

Oh Neb!  They can see through you and your attempt to ignore...they know deep down they GOTCHA!

The problem is that it appeals to my male side; I think it's funny.  Therefore I try not to react because I don't want to encourage this stuff.

To make matters worse, I've got this new kitty and she's gassy as heck.  Like dank cloud that just hangs in the room gassy.  Totally uncivilized behavior for a kitty.

I woman I used to work with claimed that "Women do not fart. They 'fluff'." Okay.  :?

Whoa, don't go overboard on the kitty-talk; you'll sound like an MSer.

Here we go with the farting being a male thing again. Personally I think laughing at farts is for vulgar peasants.

Bilbo

I have yet to date a woman who thinks it's funny to fart in bed and then ruffle the covers.

I dated a woman who did not burp, she gurgled.  Isn't that adorable?

Yeah I know. I'm always yearning for the return to the gentlemanly and lady like days but I doubt that will ever happen. Actually when I was growing up I always had a fascination with the old Japanese culture, back when Samurai were their icon.

There's that farting cat again!  Who let him in here anyway?  Bilbo?

I dunno, I think it's possibly to laugh at flatulence and still be a lady.

Or a gentleman.

There's a time and a place; if I'm at home with my family I'm not worried about putting on airs or being "ladylike".

Instead I'm worrying about how not to get beaten up by my kids who fancy me a jungle gym.  Or how not to be victim to their next gaseous drive by.
