I have very fond memories of the two that I dated.

Not me. I think the whole thing is kinda pathetic really. The girls that make my heart thump are few and far between. I'm trying to remember when was the last time although I think it was a couple months ago. The girls with great bodies but are obviously stuck up/worthless don't turn me on much, which seems to be most of them. I would write down the traits of the last girl I thought made my heart thump but I can't remember her at the moment.

Happily married and all Boo's still make my heart go thump.

The only difference now is my brain is able to go on "Boo alert".

But I still appreciate them.

I know I got sick of women telling me some positive aspect of my lifestyle or personality (such as I can cook and bake! ;) ), then follow this with, "I wonder why no woman has snatched you up yet?" Of course, the only women that actually told me this were ones that were already involved in a relationship. It seems as if single women dont notice or dont care to point out a males positive attributes.  :?

While many of these theories ring of truth there is another hypothesis that I'm working on which i believe is true for some cases.

Many women surround themselves with assholes so they can maintain their opinion that all men are pigs.

My sister in law is like this.  The pop psych opinion of most in the family is that she has low self esteem.  but I think it's just the opposite:  her self esteem is actually much higher than it should be given what she's done with her life -- and I think this is true of a lot of people.  So in order to prop up her artificial self esteem, she surrounds herself with losers who make her look pretty good!
