This smut is has been adorned across the the ASU (http://www.asu.edu/) campus in Tempe:

Aside from subtle homosexual pressure in the flyer. This is discriminatory and derogatory attitudes towards men. Fronting that every night men are complained about and finally that relief comes from separating from them. And that the best part is that no men are allowed. Sheer hate.

I immediately called the number and told her what I thought of the thing. The woman apologized and said it wasn't her fault it was the company who did it. So I'll be calling the company now.

Aside from misandry this thing is an insult to women as well. I mean it is almost even worse for women than men in this cunning piece of propaganda. Just look at it.

This is why I think the major aim of the MRA movement should be as follows:

What do you all think of this?
Any suggestions on how to move forward?

File a formal complaint with the campus Ombusperson, the Dean of ASU, Title IX compliance Office, Campus Police.

If one of those isn't right they'll direct you.  School started Monday AND ALREADY, I've filed a formal written complaint on my campus.  Believe it or not, I've already gotten an apology.  These hypocrites work the methodology of the double standard, hatred of men, etc.  I call them on it.  You'd be surprised how adept at confronting these bigots one becomes after considerable disputation regarding men's issues on SYG.  We are not alone - even though we are often alone when we go into these institutions of man-hating.

She's got a snotty attitude towards men (or she is playing it up and acting that way to appeal to a certain target market), but she is really just a low-level capitalist who is trying to make a buck. I think that's all there is to it.

The American way is supposed to be to worship anyone who makes money. She isn't going to make any significant money from this crap, so I suppose she should be shunned for that more than anything else. I guess. Did I get the paradigm right?

In any case, I think she will fade away from her own stupidity; no further effort required.

TheDude

And I'm not kidding ... if MRA stuff ever really catches fire, you may see Stacey Rassas promoting some misogynistic thing for men. And probably also failing at that. Eventually she's going to have to earn her money the old-fashioned way, by letting some man work for it.

Mr. X

I don't have a problem with it. Let women get together in privacy. All I ask is men should be able to do the same and not be hassled for it. Men should be able to say "no ladies allowed" and no one tries to force themselves in using the law.
Feminists - "Verbally beating men like dumb animals or ignoring them is all we know and its not working."

Thanks MRA - Good Suggestions. In fact I know ASU at least pretends they are against discrimination. Good idea. I think I'm also going to write a letter of complaint to the company.

I see what you are saying The Dude and Mr X. but those perspectives aren't 100% my perspectives. I see this as a insult to both women and men - boys and girls. And since I pretty much adore both. I'm utterly appalled.

I do agree men and women should be allowed to gather exclusively - but not at the expense or shunning of the other.

For some reason, I never liked the phrase "you have to pick your battles", maybe because it was an admission that life wins or something, but ...

... this chick is like nowheresville. Like highly bogarth. She will sink from her own weight.

TheDude

Here's a way of looking at it: This woman may pull a few bucks out of the pockets of wanna-be-hip chicks on campus, they won't have as good a time as thought, and her business will fade into obscurity. On its own.

On the other hand, there are men--today-- who are wandering into marriages with women who are going to take ungodly amounts of money from them in the future. The men don't get it. I would apply my efforts--in fact I have--to situations like that.

Focus on the big stuff.

When they start to go into rationalization and denial mode be sure to hit them with, "Let's change some words around.  What if this said woman instead of man, or black instead of man, etc.  Would that be alright?"  When they start to stammer and stutter, keep rewording it and reciting it to them.  I had one say, "Well yea, that could be okay." I replied, "Yea, you'd be up to your ears in lawsuits and press coverage.  Is that what you want to see happen to XYZ College?"  It's new to a lot of them, but they catch on quick.  Keep the pressure on 'em if your so inclined.  This isn't the first formal complaint I've filed against misandry in the classroom.

In a perfect world, men would have the same rights  but it ain't a perfect world.  The complaint is a good route to go, and keep a full court press on it.  If there's no "Men Only" events, there's no "Women Only events."

Playing fair against someone who has not respect for fair play is like getting up from the ground repeatedly saying "I say!  Bad form, old chap!  See here now, that's not cricket..." as you get sucker punched again.

Curb stomp the bitches.  Destroy not only their ability to resist but their will to do so.  If you can get any further sanctions, go for it.  When they've had enough, they'll cry uncle and come to the table ready to deal.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am the MEANEST son-of-a-bitch in the valley.

So what was your specific letter? Or are your suggestions only for "other people"?

TheDude

I remember that Barbara Streisand, after emphasizing that people should dry their laundry on a line in the back yard to save the environment, was asked why she personally used a dryer. She responded that, "she only meant that the little people should do that."

Cool. "The Gonzman" and Barbara Streisand seem to be two peas in a pod.

TheDude

And a question for "The Gonzman": Do you find that you are taking more Advil or other pain relievers as you near 50 after being the meanest son of a bitch in the valley? Are your swivel kicks to the head just as spry, and how do you feel the next day? Any muscle pain as the meanest bitch in the world?

Dude: Do you find your newly-acquired hotflashes and weight gain make you a tad "moody"? What are you doing for your "frumunda cheese" problem? Feminist troll!
