Falmouth mother spends benefits money on £4,500 boob job
3:41pm Thursday 7th October 2010

A Falmouth mother who spent her benefits money on a £4,500 boob job has made national headlines today.

Kelly Marshall appears on the front page of the Daily Star, as well as in Closer magazine.

In the articles the 32-year-old, who has five children by four different men, claims that she and her children should not have to “miss out on nice things” just because she has never worked.

Kelly, who first fell pregnant at 15, claims almost £29,000 a year in benefits.

But instead of spending the handouts on her children, she used the taxpayers’ money to boost her cup size from a 34A to a 34DD.

In the article she claims she now wants to spend yet more money on liposuction, Botox and a tummy tuck.

Her children are also expecting to receive £2,000 worth of Christmas presents this year and the family has already been on two foreign holidays since the beginning of the year.

Each of the four bedrooms has a flat-screen Tv and she has a wardrobe purely for her jeans collection.

She is quoted as saying: “I’m not a working mum but that doesn’t mean I can’t be a good mum. People have this idea we are spongers. I’m not.”

I think she is the very definition of sponger.

There are always two extremes....the truth lies in the middle.

Five children by four different men .... $40k a year in apparently unaccountable funds for "free", 2 foreign holidays, and free gifts for the kids.

Her plans include liposuction (meaning she's got some pounds of fat - she's clearly not starving), botox and a tummy tuck (again, she's fat and wants ELECTIVE surgery and not to exercise) ....

Each kid has a flat screen in their room and has their own room.

Who wants to guess if she votes for the party that keeps the welfare checks rolling?

Im pretty sure Steven put his first rounds on target with his post.
You may sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence upon those who seek to harm you.

With the current exchange rate isn't that closer to $70k per year?
Imagine waking up tomorrow to find
that unbelievably rape is now legal.

You would be freaking out, telling everyone you ran into this is crazy- something needs to be done... now!!! And then every man you told this to just very smugly and condescendingly says...

"Hey... not all men are 'like that.'"

BRIAN

She's a total oxygene thief. The least she could do is start stripping so the taxpayers could get a look at the tits they paid for.

I don't view this in such a negative way.

Many women just aren't good at getting a man to pay for them. Some are naturals at it; this woman clearly isn't.

But she IS taking steps to get off the dole. Her breast implants and fat reduction surgery are obviously going to attract more men, so that's a start. Maybe she just needs lessons on how to tie them down once she hooks them with the initial interest.

She probably does want to become a productive member of society by having a man pay for her, so let's give her a little leeway.

Could this be sarcasm from a female troll, or a couple of females out trolling the forums?

We must be pissing off some of the lukers. Amazonian hit-and-run tactics continue.

I'm starting to get the drift that Captain Courageous does NOT like jokes about men paying for women (out of weakness and out of a feeling that it's the only way to get them).

I despise chivalry and basically think that it is the root of most of men's problems in this society. I don't want to blame individual men, because it is a broad problem, but when I see it in particular men, I call it out.

If you didn't have weak men paying for women, thinking that's the only way you can get any attention from them, you wouldn't have men complaining about being taken by women.

Similarly for most of the other problems complained about here. We need more Rhett Butlers and fewer sensitive new-age Hugo Schwyzers.

WHAT?
Am I to understand that this cosmetic adjustment wasn't seperately covered by Social Justice Medicine for free, to raise her self esteem, help her compete in the job market, and promote the potential partnership with a financially supportive-professionally gub'mint licensed, "partner"?
