the huffingandpuffington post has a stupid, biased article :yikes:????
really???? :dontknow:

In other breaking news, I got drunk as fuck this weekend, hoebama has big ole assed ross perot ears, the cast of jersey shore are a bunch of obnoxious guidos, and monica lewinsky gave billy jeff a blowjob.................
Seriously, TBQ, if you want to kill off your brain cells, there are a lot more pleasurable ways to do it than to read the huff po
on a scale of enjoyablitiy, I put reading the huffpo in between getting sodomized by a bunch of silverback gorillas on viagra and walking naked through siberia in december
"how can you kill women and children?"---private joker
"Easy, ya just dont lead em as much" ---Animal Mother

.

I've just been contacted about this article by Caroline May at the Daily Caller.  She wants to know if she should do a reaction piece about it, and is seeking out people to interview.

The article does seem very one sided. I am waiting for HuffPo to run an article about why women don't listen to their husbands, although they would probably applaud those women for their independence. The women in the article come across as very demanding. If all you hear is criticism you are naturally going to turn off.

Men generally have problems of their own. If a man is tired and frazzled from work, and worried about how he is going to keep his job and pay the mortgage on the house, he probably won't have the patience to listen to a lot of whining. If you want someone to listen to you with unfailing patience, you should hire a shrink, although I can make a shrink defensive just by challenging his male feminist belief system.
Affirmative Action: The federal government takes your job away from you and gives it to a woman. Then she sneers at you because you are unemployed.

Without having read the article, my response:

Some men don't bother listening to some women, because some women aren't worth listening to.

I suspect that the writer of this article would be in that category of women, which is why I am not listening to her (by not reading her article).

And I don't even need to read her article to. . well . . not read her article!

Which means that I don't need to listen to her, to not listen to her!

Pretty smooth how that rolls, eh?  :laughing6:

Fidelbogen, the author is actually a male, and it's a chivalrous Ph.D. at that:

Confirms my long-considered opinion that the worst enemies of men (in the present historical drama) are other men.

And that when things get ugly, the ugliness is gonna be male-on-male.

Notice the attempt to first try and act like they are not going to be one-sided on this..

Now I don't want to claim that men are always the problem -- or that they are even more likely to be the problem than women are. No group is innocent, no group is perfect. But I can see that a lot of times men have a great deal of difficulty validating and emotionally supporting the women in their lives. Here are some reasons

But in the end he goes to the strictly feminist thinking for the reasons and just blames men.

The answer may be that some men view relationships in terms of power and control. They believe that being real men means never giving up your power. They think that women need to be kept in their place, not "indulged," taught how to think rationally and solve real problems. Of course, rationality and problem-solving are important, but if your partner wants to be heard and respected you better find out first before you jump in and take control. Real men share power, real men are partners, real men know that real women need real respect.

AHHH! So to be a "REAL man you must grant her power and respect but have you EVER seen an article telling women they need to grant these things to men or that they need to allow men to rant, vent their feelings and to support men emotionally?

The problem is, that he merely speculates about hypothetical cases involving unspecified people. Thus, everything he is saying is a figment of his imagination -- because he is not talking about real life!

Take every fabricated thing this "doctor" says, wad it up, and throw it in the garbage.
