Dad goes geocaching with his daughter in a local park... folks call in the police as it looks suspicious. Cops go to guy's house and ask him and daughter seperately whats going on.

What's geocaching?  Never heard of it before.

In the feminazi hell called America, all men are suspects, especially dads of daughters.  Get used to it.

It's a wider problem of societal perception. The RadFems have demonized men to the point that any man alone with a child must be a kidnapper/molester. This is one of the first things we must push back. A mans role as a father is not only important for raising a healthy well adjusted individual, fostering in the minds of the young that men and dads are not disposable/ATMs is what will help change societies way of thinking.
You may sleep soundly at night because rough men stand ready to visit violence upon those who seek to harm you.

New hobby where you go on a scavenger type hunt for a hidden cache of treasure or "swag" hidden and posted on the net. Using GPS and clues people go looking for them. They sign a log at the site, take an item and leave another of their choosing.

Isn't living in a police state fun... now the (North-)American people can't be envious of the Germans or the Russians.

I did a Google search on the coordinates provided in the report (33.65108,-117.639325) to find that the park is located in Orange County, California, in Rancho Santa Margarita. Funny, I thought that was considered an upper middle class area with a low crime rate. You'd think people would be less suspicious of one another in a place like that as opposed to a crime ridden area. Then again, perhaps not.

If anybody in Rancho Santa Margarita reported that they saw a woman alone with a child under the same circunstances, I wonder if the police would also go to their home to question the woman and child?  If the police would not question the woman, could the man go to a lawyer and seek advice about suing the police for gender profiling?

That sucks that you want through that.
On the other hand, you and she should feel safer knowing that folks in your area are looking out for the safety of little kids, even if they get it wrong sometimes.

suppose it was good that the couple with the dog took the initiative in order to possibly protect a child that may have been in trouble - but when it turns out to be a false alarm - then the police should definitely handle these with more compassion.

Of course if the police would have been called simply because a black guy was walking into the woods with a white woman they would be outraged.
