Has anybody here received any private messages from Amber recently which can only be characterized as hostile, aggressive and 'hate' mail.

I received one yesterday and it really spooks me!

She accuses me of running a smear campaign against her, and of being obsessed with her since she left this forum. Unless there is some other kal147, I believe I haven't even mentioned her name since her timely departure.  Talk about bizarre! Am I missing something?

I am left with the conclusion that Amber is mentally and emotionally unstable, and that she suffers from delusions of grandeur and persecution.  I graciously sent her a cordial response, however, her reply back basically said "I hate you".

Geez, Methinks Amber is a couple cigs short of a full pack. What say you?

Let's see 'em.  How can we judge, assuming your questions about her sanity and how many cigs are in her pack weren't rhetorical?  If you think presenting them here would be unkind then why not remain silent?  Why post anything at all?  Let her go on her misguided way with waves of loving, healing thought pouring upon her suffering.

the best thing to do with people who do things like that is to bring their weirdness into the light.  Send the PM or E-mail to Dr Evil and then to 2-3 other people you trust.  Also, if you are so inclined, POST them.  Nothing takes the wind out of a paranoids sails faster than to show them for what they are and expose what their weirdnesses look like.  Oh, and, am I curious what she wrote ... lol, ok, you got me there too.

No! I'm not going to reproduce the correspondence. I think it's in bad taste to do so and undermines the, albeit fragile, integrity of private correspondence.

Nevertheless, I posted of the 'fact' of her hostile corespondence in the event others here have been so 'treated' to her scurrillous missives and bizarrely inappropriate accusations . Nobody should be allowed free reign to bully others, either in public or in private. If others have, they now know they are not alone. If in the future anybody does, they are now forewarned thru my experience.

I just wonder if anyone else has received hostile private messages from her...or if I'm merely the unfortunate one...lol

I treat all abusive and threatewning emails for what they are - my property.  Unless there is some prior and documentable agreement of confidentiality, anyone sends email, anywhere and to anyone, at their own risk.

The way he used my quote, trying to smear me, is a classic feminist move.  I critique the men's movement ... and so you smear me as being *anti-man*.  This is no different than feminists who say that if you don't join the feminist movement, then you are *anti-woman*.  No, I love men.  I just have no room for this marriage-destroying, misogynist, bitter, ugly men's movement.  Besides, if you wanted to make your point (which is an intellectually dishonest point but regardless), you could have just posted the Pizzey quote without my quote.  

You have full permission of mine to post what I wrote.  That would be 10 times better than making sweeping, broad generalizations about it without letting people see for themselves.  But this kind of tactic is typical of you ... making broad sweeps with no fact or proof ... you are a real number, kal147.

I came here recently because Alicia pointed me towards a post Dan made about her.  I came, and saw the usual hate and misogyny of the men's rights activsts.  BLECK!  This forum, since my and some other females departure, has really turned into quite a little hatefest!  Of course, I knew that would happen ... with women around or rational influence, you all keep tamed.  But with the influx of the MND posters, and the nature of this site ... the worst in the men here is being brought out.  There is little doubt in my mind that if I had come upon this forum for the first time, I would have just rolled my eyes and kept going.

Take a break from the computer for three months, at least some time. You have great potential but it seems to me that you're beginning to lose sight of it.

It's very easy to get sucked into a world where you can always find supporters, it's time for you to go out into the real world, get more life experience, and challenge those ideas.

You've been stagnating, at least as far as I see it. Amusing to watch, but a little bit sad considering what you should be up to. I'd rather hear about the new job or the guy you've met instead of what I've been reading lately.
