I just couldn't. I've watched some of the interrogations: she was denying everything to the detective and tried to pick his brain at the same time about how much evidence he has -- this was before she settled on the self-defense angle.

I will watch the prosecutor cross-examining her, though. If he's smart, he'll try to show her to be a fool: in my opinion that's the only way to make her lose her cool. To everything else she will respond with flat-out denial, lies and this oh-so-poor-put-upon-girl mien.

If she hadn't recorded the whole thing on her camera, I would say she would walk.

The pictures and her lying though are a little much.

Yes, except the final act of "self-defense" is utterly incongruous, what with the 27 stab wounds, the throat-cutting verging on decapitation... if she would have shot him even half a dozen times, that would have been reasonably easy to sell, but this: not so much.

I've seen the interviews with her - she can lie without batting an eye. And she just changes her story to fit the new evidence.

She wasn't even there.

Oh, well, she was there, but two other people broke in and killed him.

Oh, huh, I forgot about that new evidence - I did stab him but it was in self-defense. He was abusive and controlling.

There are unfortunately lots of gullible people and chivalrous men, and this stuff works with them. Maybe the prosecution can get the dead guy to counter her lies with testimony via an Ouija board.

Yesterday, they played the sex tape of Jodi and Travis in court. At the end of the tape,  there is no proof that he was a deviant or did any thing wrong.  He did say she "sounded like a 12 yr old girl, but it was not meant to say he liked youngins, just a comment. And he said she looked like a porn star, and it also was just a comment, not said  as a pejorative.  Like a compliment.  She was also a very voluntary and enthusiastic participant.  I liked her voice....
