In a frightening example of how the state is tightening its grip around the free Internet, it has emerged that You Tube is complying with thousands of requests from governments to censor and remove videos that show protests and other examples of citizens simply asserting their rights, while also deleting search terms by government mandate.

This is a very serious issue and not at all off topic. The men's movement would have a hard time surviving without a free and unfettered internet to provide an alternative to the mainstream media who prefer to ignore or misrepresent men's issues. One thing that the Democrats have been trying to do is force people to use their real names when posting messages on web sites. This would obviously discriminate against people with unpopular opinions, and MRAs have opinions that are very unpopular in certain quarters. Hey, I know, let's just make the next mandatory (punishable by all SORTS of things)National Census reporting electronic, on the interwebs, forever tieing ones electronic
communication venues/names to a name, address, and ALL specific "household demographic" information. That SSN one must now recite for (ALL now GPS trackable)cell phones and bank accounts should take care of the rest. I suppose the requirement that
ANY "political" support forms must include the name of an employer ought to cross check that whole IRS-SSN "healthcare management approval" thing.
