The wife was in an "abusive wife" costume for a Halloween party, and the husband was in an "abused husband" costume.

She was arrested for beating him up. I guess she got too into the role.

She was booked on a charge of misdemeanor assault and battery but released a short time later after posting 10 percent of her $5,000 bond.

Why not charge her with DV?  More shenanigans.
