Merry Christmas to all!

This may prove to be an important year for men's issues.  The VAWA is up for re-certification and there are rumblings of discontent that will hopefully hit Capitol Hill like a ton of bricks.  F4J is starting in the US and this may jumpstart some of our local U.S. groups that have been less than active lately.  There is a solid distaste for the constant stream of male-bashing in the media noticed by ordinary citizens who are not mra's or feminists but see the marked sexism and find it wrong and less than civil.  Circumcision is finally being labeled as a problem for boys both in the psychological community and in the general public.  The draft has become a topic of discussion.  The Massachusetts Shared Parenting ballot initiative has clearly shown the overwhelming public support for fathers.

Bring on 05.  This is a watershed year for us.

Sir Jessy of Anti

Indeed, we live in interesting times.

Merry Christmas to you and your family Doctor, and good tidings to all.

Down here we drink Dark and Stormy.  That's dark rum with ginger beer.
As I reflect on Christmas past I have to say this is a very memorable christmas indeed.

Glenn sacks was our main man in 2004, with his rightous indignation of corporate pandering to sexist and damaging stereotypes, and his work on the LaMusga move away case among other things.

There is also the celebration of the victory for victims of paternity fraud in California, and the eventual releasing of their chains of bondage to the machinery of the CS agents and bureaucracy.

What else?  Well you and some others took your concerns to DC.

We had some major scientific studies add to what a lot of us have been saying.

The Ms. Forum went down forever.  The governmental status of women organization in Australia was decried as sexist, and dismantled (last I heard).

Fathers for Justice made some monumental strides in gaining public attention to the situation.

The list of activism in 2004 is simply too much for me to remember, so feel free to add something!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Dr. Evil.  Merry Christmas and Happy New 2005 to everyone on SYG!

I hope that the points Dr. Evil listed come to fruition in 2005.  The stage is set for a successful year for us.

Steve

I'm not a Christian, though I was raised up as one.

I never could see the logic of wanting to be "saved." From what? (Left my Church at the tender age of 13... after passing all the required multiple choice tests to be certified...)

But I do see a need for enlightenment.

That is what MRA's are all about!

Less ignorance. Less hatred. Less propaganda. Less UNtruth!

More understanding. More respect. More JUSTICE!
