You'll never read another review     of the Incredibles l ike this.

It not ha ha funny but I do find it very amusing.

It you haven't seen the film DONT READ THE REVIEW. It will ruin the movie for you.

Hmm,I just enjoyed a funny movie. Its a small parody inhow heroes would be seen as today when their golden days are over.

I liked that movie, and i never ruin movies by analyzing them on a gender microscope.
londe, blue eyes and smart. WTF is wrong with me?

So, unconsciously you would accept any message that was meant to be conveyed? Even if that message was to kill and or main women or children exclusively?

Just because you enjoyed "some" part of the movie.
t is perhaps a terrible thing to say, but "rights and freedoms we are not willing to fight for are rights and freedoms we don't deserve."

ChickenZliZe

I dont accept messages like that.If I notice a "message" I think about it.Lets say I see a movie, after the movie, when I think about it,I try to figure out the "message".Thats how I remember good movies, cuz of their ability in te script to transfer a a statement, but seeing a message is not the same as accepting it.

But I never watch a movie just to analyze it under a microsope. That ruins a pleasant time if te movie is good.Get what I am saying?

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, opposite of Ms Razorblade.

Just from the first few paragraphs of her review I can determine that she is very misandric, and obviously hates men.

Her description of the male characters in the movie as idiot and brats, but does not say anything condenscending about the female characters in the movie.

Falling back to general rhetoric that all women are victims even if they are superheroes.

Bah her comments are dumb, do not read her review.
do what I need to do to protect my loved ones, friends, and family. This is what men do.

Granted.

Without your internal microscope though, if a message was meant to be conveyed which was not apperant at first glance, how would you know it?

I'm not attack you here, I'm just curious.

I'm hopefull that we can both agree that there is alot of misandry in the mainstream media today. How do we collectively separate the wheat from the chaff if not by use of our internal microscope? Be it "gender" or "colour" or, or , or.

Clarification: Messages, subtle or obvious is something I think about after the movie,I dont have my "gender detection radar" on when enjoying a movie,I dont even think in those terms generally.

Just because a movie has a secret agenda or message it doenst mean I fall for it.I got my own moral and ethivs code, and a movie violates them,I notice it.

I noticed that the movie showed family life as in the american 70´s.Core family and stuff.
When they were younger it was more like 50´s or so.Am i right?
I think it was more of a parody on how a hero would manage life today, when "out of work"
Elasto Girl is the hard working mother with 3 kids to take careof.Incredible is the family supporter with a job he hates.Working late, doing what he can for the family.
Now a days, people do that still, but with some restrictions. If the mother earns more, she will work and support the family its all a economical angle.

Thats how I analyzed the movie. I saw 2 parents doing whattheycould for their kids.
Even though they might´ve hate it.

Viewing a media with a grain of salt is always recommended, but I never ruin a experience as a movie to analayze it.But i never swallow everything.

I hope I made it more clear what I meant?
And I dont feel attacked,if I would feel that way,I wouldn´t post in the first place :P
