A woman will be president. Why? Because we're expert cleaners and the world is a mess.

Yes, it would be about time women cleaned up their own mess.  You see, the generations that made the world a mess weren't raised by just men.  Let's not forget that, shall we?

Running on some pretty big assumptions, isn't she?

There are always two extremes....the truth lies in the middle.

Amazing how this line of reasoning fails to mention the notion of the individual womens own politics being a factor in her perfomance. Look at other women president/prime ministers for example. Some have been liberal or conservative, cautious or wreckless, efficient or inefficient....just like men. Gender is nowhere near as relevant a factor as narcissistic feminazi's would have everyone believe.

We must not make the mistake of thinking that all those who eat the bread of dictatorship are evil from the first; but they must necessarily become evil....The curse of a system of terror is that there is no turning back; neither in the large realm of policies nor the 'smaller' realm of everyday human relationships is it possible for men to retrace their steps."

I give no consideration to sex or race when I vote.  I really don't understand what the big deal is, to have a woman in the White House.

Yeah, but when any or all of those predictions/assumptions fail to come true, who here wants to bet against me that she'll somehow find a way to blame men?  E.g., "those men wouldn't cooperate with me," "men failed to step up to the plate, be responsible and do their part," or (my personal favorite) "those Neanderthal men just didn't 'get it.'"

If we ever do get a woman president, (probably not in my lifetime, hopefully) I hope she is at least Replubican.

Gentleman is a man who consciously serves women. I prefer the golden rule.

Behind every great man, is a
parasite.

Women who say men won't commit, usually aren't worth committing to.

Yes, those are very big assumptions.  Weapons destroyed?  Not if I was president!  And I'm pretty sure Ann Coulter wouldn't meet any of those assumptions.

I personally liked Margaret Thatcher's economic policies.

In all consolation Mary, I used to be sympathetic to the Democrats. That was about 20 years ago before the feminazi's usurped their throne. Now I try to help Libertarians gain local office whenever possible.

Oh, she has already started blaming us men before the event has even happened:

"But 50 years later, when history judges her, textbooks will testify to the burden she bore to be all things to all people and will lament how unfairly she was treated."

Maybe this will lead to a new paradigm, that of "Presidentarchy".  That's a concept that reads like so:

Since men have always been president, the presidential office is by nature oppressive, and it would be obscene to think that one woman president can metamorphize the presidentarchy into its more egalitarian and enlightened non-hierarchal form, The Femident.  Therefore all future femidents must be at least 50% female."

Sounds about right. :)

Actually, I'm not really a Democrat.  Please be aware that I've only just begun to vote again.  Jehovah's Witnesses are (ostensibly) politically neutral.  Voting was a disfellowshipping offense (if the elders found out).  So was smoking - which is why I got kicked out.  I'm really glad about it now, because all I felt all I was doing as a Witness was waiting for Jehovah to kill me at Armegeddon.   :(

I did register Democrat, at T's suggestion, so I could vote in primaries.  T. is a die-hard Republican, but we share an extreme dislike for Bush.

I don't know anything about the Libertarians, so I shall educate myself.

Don't worry.  Sometimes I think I'm the token Libertarian.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for I am the MEANEST son-of-a-bitch in the valley.

I'm probably a libertarian with a small "l".   :)

Or maybe a semi-Objectivist.  I haven't decided yet, LOL!

I agree with contrarymary in that the gender of the person is irrelevant.

How much time do women and feminists spend assuring us that there's really no difference between men and women's abilities, only to then whine that it's a man doing x or y and not a woman?

Having said all that, I would like to see Condi Rice as next president. Being a fellow classical pianist, that would really make my day! :-)
