It's kinda like reading a communique from the Ministry of Justice in China, or a memo from the desk of Joseph Stalin.
Always "urging" some immediate action (write your congressman) in support of the latest hysterical patriarchal outrage.
As near as I can tell, there are no Republicans or Libertarians or even Greens at N.O.W. these days. (Their membership is shrinking drastically, though they continue to lie about being a "national" organization. I'd love to see the map of the "lavender" states!)
The latest action bulletin urges members to write Congress to reject the FDA's proposed re-approval of silicon breast implants.
It has to be somewhat trivially ironic that N.O.W. has come full circle in only a few decades to be arguing against women who want bigger boobs.
Well, actually, N.O.W. doesn't clarify their position on this matter.
It seems they just want bigger, less lethal boobs.
They have my vote! :lol:
