angelssk7

Hello all,

As you know already, I am angelssk7. I also go by Mike, and by my last name, though I won't be sharing it here.

To go through the standard intro... I am 19, and I am studying Chemical Engineering at Georgia Tech, and for those who have been there, they know that a my 3.6 GPA is something to behold. Basically, I love what I do. For organizations... I work with the Boy Scout troop that I joined many years ago. I am a Christian and I am active in a group known on campus as the "Lasagna Club," which is in my opinion one of the few Christian groups that really are Christian.

I got involved in the Men's Movement a long time ago through angryharry.com, and I found that through youdontsay.org, and I found that through americanpolicy.com. You will find that everything reminds me of something, and that I can recognize how I have come to where I am. Anyway, I've dated a 5 or 6 number of girls, I have fallen in love with two, and those two made my life a living hell for the duration that I loved them. In both cases I couldn't let go, but by the grace of God I'd go into... fits, until the girls was driven away. And now, after the second one, I've realized that there is more to life than trying to please a woman. And since I was reading from AH while things had been going on, I began to see, most importantly, that I was not alone...

In general, I am a 19 year old male trying to find his purpose... Basically, what should I put the next 40-50 years of my labor to? I have begun to see that I do have some sort of place within the Men's Movement, and also in teaching within the Church (meaning all believers), which has fallen into apostasy over the last few decades, maybe even the last century if a friend of mine is correct. On the boards I like to recall stories from high school and more recently from college, and I like to work out plans for action. I have already seen a few good ideas, and I will be incorporating them into a website and in the use of my time on campus. I think that the next major step in the Men's Movement is to organize itself into a coherent network, and I want to be a part of making it happen.

One question for DrEvil, how can I put a US flag along with my avatar?

Hello to a fellow Chem E from a 1982 Chem E grad of U of Illinois!

It's a fun major, isn't it? I'm surprised you have the time to date; nearly all of my Saturday nights in college were spent doing homework!

Welcome Angelssk7.  Your flag should be up and running in a moment.

If you are interested in a united men's movement I would urge you to join us this summer in Washington DC for the 2nd Men's Equality Congress.  There's a link in my sig.
