Go Down

Gerard Velthuis

As some people here have seen a while ago, I have posted a thread about the effectiveness of this forum. I don't want to go all into this topic again, however I do want to set up a poll to see what the people here at this forum think of this forum but you can translate this in more general terms about the men's movement. The objective of this is NOT to point out to men that it is a waste of time to be engaged in the men's movement, but I am just curious what you people here think of it. Are things going fine the way things are going, or should there be changes? Are you satisfied the ways things are going or not? Be honest plz
t is time men start behaving like men again and stand up for their rights, instead of behaving like conformist push-overs.

no2fembots thinks feminism will go down in 10 to 20 years, but the men's movement, such as it is, will have little to do with it.

The Soviet Union did not fall due to the USA or capitalism, it fell because "it" was based on a faulty premise and therefore was doomed to fail.   Likewise, feminism is destined to fail because it is based on a faulty premise and it WILL fall!

Any ideology that does not take into account innate human drives and behaviors is destined for the scrap heap.  History has demonstrated this fact over and over again.

MRA's are just assisting the natural decomposition process...

I agree however I believe that this will simply be due to less and less support of the "common" woman and because by that time, probably many things have already been changed.

I doubt however that feminism will COMPLETELY dissapear, however after a certain time it will become ineffective to change many things any more / even further.
Hopefully by then, men will be respected again as a human being instead of a bad/wrong person / oppressor.

LoL!  Yes, feminism will remain in this world, but on the fringes.

In Canada we still have a Communist Party that has managed to stay alive all these years... poor dears!

We still have Hippies on the West Coast of BC: anachronisms from a by-gone day.

We still have the outmoded concept called "Canada", that tottering and teetering political entity that, like the chicken running around without it's head, still refuses to believe it is already dead!

btw, no2fembots enjoyed his time in Holland, many years ago.  Landed in Amsterdam and enjoyed that city, but found the true Netherlands by cycling south through the many beautufl small towns and villages on route to Belgium.  Best cheeses in the world!  And nothing beats waking up to the smell of fresh baked bread wafting through the tent - and looking out to see a small truck trundling along the cobblestones selling bread in the early hours.  The 'waarmbaaker' or some such title....

So far there haven't many people voted yet. At the moment there are 635 members at this forum. For the people who haven't voted yet, plz give your honest vote about how you think about this.
Maybe it will help create awareness in the men's movement and we could adjust to it, make changes if necessary, etc.
