This is me "Standin' on the corner in Winslow, Arizona" in Oct. '03



Yes, they really did create a park there based on the old '70s Eagles song.  There are two gift shops there, and a loudspeaker on the corner blares one of the Eagles albums with that song in it.  You can even get a brick with your name on it placed on the sidewalk for $50.

I even bought a T-shirt with the park theme on it, and a Route 66 magnet while I was there.  :oops:  :lol: Although I didn't go for the brick deal.

A bit of kitschy Americana, I know, but it was fun for 30 minutes anyway.

Unfortunately, there was a fire in the building that the mural was placed on in Oct. 2004, and the park is apparently still closed  :cry:

Anyhow, since everyone else is doing it, here I am receiving a gift from members of my cigar club this past New Years Eve at The Mohegan Sun Casino in CT.




And just to show that the club does NOT discriminate, here I am with some of the female cigar smokers in the club.  Yes, you heard correctly.  Even women can enjoy a good quality cigar.

I should tell you all that they are all wonderful HUMAN BEINGS and are spouses/girlfriends of other members.... hehehehehe

They were teasing me and saying shit like they were all gonna attack me.  Mainly because I have issues with close quarters and people being in my 'space'.  It was all in good fun.  But you can tell that they knew their bounderies though.  They knew and respected me by not getting TOO close.  Good people.  Very good people.

I truely love them all.
