I think both Typhon and Chris might want to read rule #4 again:Quote4. Negative global generalizations about either gender like "Men are Pigs" or "Women are whores" are not allowed. Larry Sommers would not have been banned. Noting differences between men and women is fine. It is the negative global generalizations that are against the rules. I thought that saying women were immoral and selfish fit in that category. Typhon's arguments about men and women have never seemed to me to be in that genre. That's my opinion.E

People like Chris are part of the reason it is sometimes hard to call myself an MRA.
Chris, you are acting like a pompus jerk. This IS a forum about men's rights, and if you are so disappointed with it WHY ARE YOU HERE?There are moderation rules, which do not hinder the speech of most MRAs in the least who have a modicum of intelligence and self control,
The same logic could say they are inferior.Men have a much higher curve then women do on an IQ scale, many more male genius's and many more idiots.
Not very logical to say men are intellectually superior as a whole, logical to say that a small minority of men outperform everyone else on the planet.
What do you think about the sex-obsessed men of society? Do you share the same opinions as me?
Dr. Evil, would *sethay's* comment qualify as a *Personal Attack*?
QuoteWhat do you think about the sex-obsessed men of society? Do you share the same opinions as me?I'm not so sure that is the way I would frame it. I don't see American men as sex-obsessed. I see them as being shamed for their desires, shamed for being male, and shamed for not being more like women.I think supply and demand would tell us that when demand is medium and supply is very low it can look as though demand is much higher than it actually is. Men have physical needs driven by their hormones. It is interesting to hear from women who have to take testosterone supplements due to physical disease and to hear what they say. The ones I have known have said, "Get me off this stuff, I am antsy and I can't stop thinking about sex." Uh-huh. Hello. Young men get blasted with hormones that tell them to spread their seed and then find themsleves in environments that punish them for seeking sexual connections. What a strange world we live in. As men get older the hormones start to abate and the manipulations and power grabs become much more clear. Men can experience a different sort of freedom when they are older and not driven in the same ways they have been as young men to seek out sexuality.
Wow, you could teach a master-class on passive-aggressive attacks.
The release of testosterone does cause an adolescent male to become sexually arroused, however I think one can control it, that is if he puts his mind to it. Not once have I ever felt the need to lose my virginity, and I am nearly 21-years-old. In fact, I have always felt that the of *Sexual Intercourse* is exaggerated, and I feel as if women use it as their way of *Psychologically Controling* men, so I just cannot like the act.
As a youth, I matured far quicker than the other boys, as I did and still have an excessively high level of testosterone. I developed a full beard, a hairy chest, upper arms and shoulders by the time I was 15, and I loved being a man and took pride in being male. When I saw the females at my school acting like manipulative monsters, I felt disgusted and chose to avoid them.
In my opinion, a lot of boys have been brainwashed into thinking that their masculinity is defined by the amount of sex and female approval that they can obtain, so they think it is a necessity to endure the most misandrist abuse that the girls can inflict upon them.
The male youth of today as not as easy to manipulate as the men from the 1960's, and I think that shows that men are NOT controlled by their sex-drives. I think that men are controlled by their chivalrous nature, but not their sex-drive.
In my opinion, the men who try to blame their sex-drive for their inability to stand up for their rights, are no better than the women who use PMS to absolve themselves from taking accountability for their behaviour.
Not at all. I only came here to defend Chris from the mob mentality I could see forming. If you have a problem with me then bann me. You'd be doing me a favour as posting here is a supreme waste of time.
