Ok, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first fake allegation I've read about where it appears the authorites actually intend to mete out some sort of discipline to the hoaxer.  She was probably just trying to whack NOW's stats back into balance....

Three sexual offenses were reported at SUNY Brockport in 2004, the last year for which federal crime statistics are available.

When they speak of "three sexual offenses" within a year at that particular campus, it cannot but fuel speculation regarding the classic 1-in-4 rape horror.

But of course we all know about the massive prevalence of underreporting.....eh? Right..?

I personally know of one case in Youngstown where the complaintant was charged. Can't remember the outcome, but let's use our imaginations.
