On ebay this morning, they had a round trip ticket to anywhere in the world Delta flies at $1,000. Buy the round trip and just don't come back!!! The perfect mechanism for escape -- nearly any place on the planet.

I am planning my escape right now.  I predict reaching escape velocity within 4 to 5 years.

Sir Percy

Should we be looking for a way out from the society we have, or a way out for it ?
vil, like misery, is Protean, and never greater than when committed in the name of 'right'. To commit evil when they are convinced they are doing 'good', is one of the greatest of pleasures known to a feminist.

I think an escape can also be very effective.  We discussed this before on SYG, and people seem to be split between changing laws incrementally in the west to get some balance between the genders OR just escaping from it and emmigrating.

We all have to live our life, of which we have only one.  If moving to another country betters your life, and you're not breaking any laws, then of course it's good to move, if your circumstances allow.

Some people are saying it's "running away", but I think it's also effective.
There is a lot of "male flight" from western countries to SE Asian countries. This is already having an effect on the west.  If it increases, governments will need to worry and do something.  We're talking about high-earning, well-educated guys here - i.e. major tax contributors.  Western women will start to notice the trend - well they already are if they actually go out to SE Asia.  If a western woman walks down a street in Bangkok today, they will get clued in pretty quickly what is going on. Meanwhile, these men are getting on with their lives - being pro-active.  A happy man is not a sight that feminists delight in seeing, especially when they see they are improving their lives by rejecting wholesale feminist beliefs.

I think the "escape" alternative makes more and more sense as one ages.

A young man has more incentive to change the system and there is more chance the system will change in his lifetime.

An older man has incentive just to go somewhere conducive to his happiness.

It is a shame when older men do this. Older men do have experience and wisdom that can benefit the culture.

However, who can blame them? Their experience and wisdom is not respected. They are viewed as potential rapists and violent abusers.

It makes great sense to "disappear." One doesn't have to go to Southest Asia to disappear by the way. A cabin in the mountains will do. A good hobby whether fishing or RC Airplanes or reading will do.

It just requires distancing oneself from dangers and not really concerning oneself with the issue and instead focusing on something of interest.

Yes, so true.  I'd add to that : going self-employed (now this does depend on what you do).  Going self-employed means you don't answer to stupid sexist office rules, like having to wear a shirt and tie (when women arrive in football shirts and jeans), no sexual harrassment dangers, no chivalry, no kowtowing, you are your own boss.
