Men PAY for ponography, but it is women who get PAID to pose for porn.

i submit that we men don't really enjoy porn - we're just looking at it to piss feminists off 'cause we know they hate it when we do  :lol:

i'm starting to think that the real reason women in general (notice i didn't say feminists) don't like us looking at pictures of naked women is that they have no way of connecting to us or understanding us when we do since they have no frame of reference for it. they don't recognize us and that frightens them

women form communities (which they generally exclude us from most of the time) based on communication and mutual understanding so when they can't understand our enjoyment of porn it disturbs them. sure, they can intellectualize it but they don't 'get' it at the subconscious level where the threat to them comes from

the old excuses about objectifying them, 'they should be enough for us' etc are just covers and/or rationalization for that fear

Well, both evolution and culture plays a role. But in the particulars of sexual attractiveness the cultural factors are dwarfed by biological ones.

I agree.  In fact, I don't deny the importance of cultural factors in many domains, but I just wish that the genetic part was also accepted.

Could be, Jimbo.....Another thought is that the very women who hate porn are the ones who use sex to control men, so if men are busy getting the pages of magazines sticky, they figure they have lost control.

A five dollar magazine is much more practical than a fifty dollar dinner date and the magazine isn't going to complain if you roll over and go to sleep afterwards.
